What Is Veritaseum Coin (VERI)?

What is the difference between Veritaseum and Veritas?

Veritaseum is the name of the company that issued a token called Veritas (Veritaseum coin).

Is Veritas a form of investment? And why is that?

Veritas is not an investment, it’s software. The Company cannot prevent others from speculating on VERI (Veritaseum coin).

Why is Veritaseum’s market capitalization so undervalued? And is that correct?

Coinmarketcap determines the market capitalization with the “circulating supply” and evaluates it as the alleged total supply. Your preferred method of calculation will determine whether this number is evaluated correctly. In addition, the company does not feel as undervalued as many people think. In this sense, market capitalization is not the same as market valuation. The valuation is much more focused and based on a more rigorous approach than the multiplication of two numbers.

How dependent is Veritaseum on Ether-Blockchain with its P2P platform?

Veritaseum’s products are not dependent on a blockchain, as they can be moved to different blockchains. It is claimed that some engineering efforts will be required to switch between the block chains. We see that most new blockchains are designed to be backward compatible with Ethereum applications.

When will the Veritaseum P2P platform be available to the public?

Veritaseum Joint Venture Digital Asset Exchange Joint Venture with Top Ten Global Stock Exchanges is planned to debut as proof of the concept on 10/15/17, assuming the business goes through.

Veritaseum P2P OTC direct value trading will make its debut in the 4th quarter of 2018.

Can Veritaseum be made SEC-compliant if it is found that Veritaseum is not compliant (i. e. SEC dictates that ALL ICOs are securities)?

Veritaseum has already planned to publish public financial reports. The Company believes that it is a software-based consulting firm that has not issued any unregistered securities, but if the Company will be forced to comply with SEC regulations as something other than a software vendor, the Company does not believe that it will have a problem with this. Please note that the company is not a regulatory specialist or a securities lawyer, so this is simply the opinion of a layman.

Can the platform ultimately be used between peers without going through the Veritaseum team?

The goal is to enable VeADIR to be 100% autonomous, but until the company can develop the AI that can handle requests that want to be “veritated”, the VeADIR research must be purchased from Veritaseum, so that they have to rely on the team in part to prevent undesirable entities from being listed.

What does “Veritize” mean?

Veritize – means that an asset is assigned a customized VERI token (think of a wrapper that surrounds the asset and gives it special programmable attributes that live and move on the blockchain). For example, you can lease a building,”Veratize”, and leasing can be traded on the digital asset exchanges. This is the process the company presents to its partners.

You can’t buy it directly for fiat on any exchange. You can choose the best bitcoin exchange for your region and but BTC there, then trade it for VERI on exchanges. Learn here how you can instantly convert altcoins to bitcoin and vice versa.

Our recommendation is always check if Coinbase is available for your country and buy there – as it is by far the safest and best regulated bitcoin exchange. Coinbase is legit and safe cryptocurrency exchange.

If Coinbase doesn’t support your country, use Cex.io – read review about Cex.io here.

If your country is not available on Coinbase – also check for exchanges that are good Coinbase alternatives (such as above-mentioned Cexio and Indacoin – see here for Indacoin review) and buy BTC on one of those exchanges. You can always exchange your coins on Changelly (see if Changelly is legit), instantly and directly to BTC.

Best and safest option to store your coins is to download an official coin wallet and store it on a hardware wallet – our recommendation is just go and buy Ledger Nano S, it is the safest option. You can read our review of Ledger Nano S or check out other top hardware wallets here.
