Everyone’s using AI to guess where crypto is headed next. Grok, Claude, DeepSeek, you name it. These bots chew through old price charts, news, whale moves, and general hype, then spit out a number. It’s cool, but let’s be real: they’re blind to the stuff that actually moves markets.
Also, some people think the AI stock craze is pulling money away from crypto. Big tech is soaking up all the cash, and that leaves coins like XRP and Ethereum fighting for leftovers.
But those two are in completely different boats right now. Ripple’s XRP is getting hammered by big investors selling off. Meanwhile, Ethereum has a tailwind, fresh money is flowing into its new ETFs, and that’s propping it up.
With all that in the mix, we went back to those three AIs, Grok, Claude, and DeepSeek, and asked them one question: What’s the price of XRP and Ethereum going to be this October?
Here’s what they told us.

XRP Price Faces ETF Selling Despite Strong XRPL Growth
Ripple’s XRP dropped to $1.05 in the last day, down about 1.38%. That’s worse than most other coins right now.
This is because big money is walking away. Grayscale’s XRP fund dumped about $180 million worth of the coin in the first six months of this year alone. And it’s not just them, Bitwise saw another $3.58 million leave the door too. People are pulling back, plain and simple
Despite the weakness, XRP’s fundamentals continue improving. The XRP Ledger has now crossed 8.03 million accounts, showing steady network adoption.
Ripple also introduced Ripple Mint to strengthen institutional tokenization on the XRP Ledger, and ecosystem projects continue expanding, including the upcoming BXE partnership with a major exchange and the August 15 Biconomy listing of the REAL token.
Meanwhile, supporters of the CLARITY Act believe its eventual passage could permanently establish XRP’s commodity status, though the legislation still awaits Senate action.
Ethereum Price Builds on ETF Inflows and Supply Tightening
The Ethereum price climbed 1.64% to $1,899.61, outperforming Bitcoin’s 0.70% gain after institutional demand returned. U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs posted net inflows of $53.1 million on August 5, ending a four-day streak of withdrawals and helping restore investor confidence.
Fundamentals also remain supportive. More than 41.4 million ETH, around 34% of the circulating supply, is locked in staking, reducing liquid supply available on exchanges. On-chain data also showed whales adding thousands of ETH through over-the-counter purchases before moving large amounts into staking.
The Ethereum Foundation added another positive catalyst by funding WEBCAT through its Trillion Dollar Security initiative, targeting wallet and dApp security to improve user protection as institutional adoption grows.
Grok Predicts the XRP Price Could Double if Regulatory Momentum Improves
Grok delivered the most bullish outlook of the three AI models, particularly for the XRP price. Its forecast is built around three major catalysts: progress on the CLARITY Act, approval of the xrpld 3.3.0 amendments, and continued expansion of Ripple’s ecosystem through RLUSD and institutional adoption.
For XRP, Grok believes the best-case scenario would send the XRP price into the $2.20-$2.80 range by October. The model argues that validator approval of xrpld 3.3.0 would introduce features such as Confidential MPTs and upgraded multisignature functionality, making the XRP Ledger more attractive for enterprise use.

Combined with RLUSD adoption and continued whale accumulation, institutional demand could accelerate. If the U.S. Senate also advances the CLARITY Act, Grok believes XRP could even test the $3 level.
Its base case is far more conservative, placing the XRP price between $1.40 and $1.70. In this scenario, regulatory uncertainty remains, but ongoing ecosystem expansion, including Ripple Mint, the XRP Ledger surpassing 8.03 million accounts, and new projects launching on XRPL, continue supporting gradual appreciation. ETF outflows would still create intermittent selling pressure, preventing a stronger breakout.
The bearish scenario sees the XRP price falling to $0.70-$0.90. Grok believes prolonged delays to the CLARITY Act, additional institutional outflows similar to the latest Bitwise redemptions, and weaker liquidity could increase selling pressure. In that case, only bargain buying near the end of October prevents XRP from sliding below $0.65.
For Ethereum, Grok expects institutional demand to remain the key driver. Following the August 5 net ETF inflow of $53.1 million, the AI model believes continued buying from spot ETF issuers, together with more than 41.4 million ETH already locked in staking, could tighten available supply even further. That combination gives Grok a bullish target of $2,800-$3,400 by October.

Its base outlook sees the Ethereum price climbing to $2,200-$2,600, supported by steady ETF inflows, whale accumulation, Ethereum’s 53% share of DeFi TVL, and its dominance in the stablecoin ecosystem.
Grok’s bearish case sees the Ethereum price retreating to $1,400-$1,700 if ETF inflows reverse again and broader risk-off sentiment returns to financial markets. The model also notes that slower staking growth and weaker institutional demand could increase selling pressure, though strong on-chain buying near major support levels could prevent a deeper decline below $1,300.
Claude Sees Steady Gains for the XRP Price and Ethereum Price
Claude takes a more balanced approach, placing greater emphasis on regulation and institutional participation than aggressive price expansion.
For the XRP price, Claude projects a bullish range of $1.30-$1.60. It believes Senate approval of the CLARITY Act after the congressional recess would remove one of the biggest obstacles for institutional adoption.

Claude also points to the xrpld 3.3.0 amendments, including Sponsored Fees and Confidential MPTs, as upgrades that could improve XRP Ledger utility for tokenization and enterprise applications. Continued whale accumulation and RLUSD’s expansion across multiple networks also support its optimistic outlook.
Its base scenario keeps the XRP price between $1.00 and $1.15, assuming lawmakers continue debating crypto legislation and ETF flows remain mixed. Claude believes ongoing whale buying could prevent deeper declines, though it does not expect a sustained rally without a major regulatory catalyst.
Claude’s bearish case places the XRP price between $0.75 and $0.90. It argues that additional delays to the CLARITY Act, combined with ongoing outflows from XRP investment products and broader market weakness, could trigger another round of profit-taking and push XRP below major support.
For Ethereum, Claude forecasts a bullish target of $2,300-$2,600. The model points to July’s $365 million in ETF inflows, the August 5 reversal back to positive flows, and Ethereum’s staking participation above 34% of circulating supply as evidence that institutions continue accumulating ETH despite short-term volatility.
It also cites the Ethereum Foundation’s WEBCAT security grant as a positive development that strengthens confidence in the broader ecosystem.

Claude’s base case places the Ethereum price between $1,900 and $2,150, expecting ETF demand to continue at a moderate pace until a larger macro catalyst emerges.
Claude’s bearish outlook targets $1,550-$1,750. The model believes slowing ETF demand, renewed risk aversion across financial markets, and stronger competition from rival smart-contract networks could pressure ETH lower if institutional buying fades.

DeepSeek Believes the XRP Price Depends on Senate Action
DeepSeek places more weight on policy decisions than either Grok or Claude, making the CLARITY Act the defining factor for both assets over the next two months.
Its bullish scenario puts the XRP price between $1.80 and $2.20. The AI model believes Senate approval of the CLARITY Act, combined with successful validator approval of the xrpld 3.3.0 amendments, would strengthen institutional confidence in XRP. It also expects RLUSD to increase demand for XRP as the bridge asset across the XRP Ledger, adding another source of utility beyond speculation.

Its base case forecasts the XRP price reaching $1.15-$1.40. DeepSeek expects whale accumulation to provide support as investors wait for regulatory clarity. Continued expansion of the XRPL ecosystem through projects such as BXE and REAL also contributes to gradual price appreciation, though the model does not expect explosive gains without new legislation.
DeepSeek’s bearish case targets $0.85-$0.95. Failure to pass the CLARITY Act, unsuccessful validator voting on xrpld upgrades, and a broader crypto market correction could weaken sentiment enough to send XRP back toward its previous support zone.
For Ethereum, DeepSeek forecasts $2,400-$2,600 in its bullish scenario. It bases this view on continued spot ETF inflows, more ETH moving into staking contracts, and ongoing whale accumulation reducing exchange supply. The model also believes Ethereum Foundation initiatives aimed at improving wallet and dApp security strengthen the network’s appeal to institutions.

Its base forecast places the Ethereum price between $2,000 and $2,200, assuming ETF demand remains positive, Ethereum maintains its leadership in DeFi and stablecoins, and macroeconomic conditions remain supportive through October.
DeepSeek’s bearish outlook sees the Ethereum price dropping to $1,650-$1,750 if ETF inflows prove temporary, profit-taking accelerates after the summer rally, or macroeconomic conditions deteriorate. A weaker ETH/BTC ratio and another round of institutional selling could keep ETH under pressure through October.
