XRP Price Warning: One More Drop Could Change the Entire Setup

XRP price is once again testing the level that has separated its recovery phase from its difficult past. The token has already lost much of its 2025 advance, but the next drop could carry far greater consequences. One price level now stands between XRP and a possible return to territory last visited before its major breakout.

XRP reached approximately $3.60 during July 2025 after a powerful recovery from its previous lows. That rally failed to last, and XRP price has continued to fall through much of 2026.

Several consolidation periods slowed the decline, though none produced a lasting recovery. XRP previously reached another important high near $2.40 before trading between $1.55 and $1.18 from February through June.

Conditions became more difficult during June when XRP broke below $1.18. The price has since traded mainly between $1.18 and $1, which leaves buyers with little room for another failure.

That narrow range matters because XRP price is now testing its most important support from the entire recovery.

The $1 level has supported XRP price since November 2024. That period marked the end of several difficult years when XRP traded mainly between $0.10 and $0.60.

A successful breakout above $1 opened the door to higher single digit targets and eventually carried XRP toward $3.60. XRP has treated the same level as major support during its decline.

Losing $1 could therefore change the entire technical setup. Such a breakdown would place XRP beneath the foundation of its 2024 breakout and expose lower support areas.

The first breakdown may not send XRP directly toward $0.50. However, continued trading beneath $1 would make that bearish destination much more realistic.

A Multiyear Trend Line Places $0.50 Back Into Focus

The $0.50 target comes from a rising trend line that has supported XRP across several market cycles. A look at the broader XRP chart shows that this line has remained relevant since around 2020.

That trend line currently points toward an area close to $0.50. XRP price could revisit it if sellers force a confirmed break below $1 and buyers fail to reclaim the lost support.

Such a move would represent a decline of roughly 50% from the current area. More importantly, XRP would return to the price region that defined much of its previous period of weakness.

The bearish case depends heavily on what happens around $1. Buyers could protect the level again, but repeated tests often weaken support because available demand may gradually decline.

Daily Indicators Keep the XRP Price Outlook Bearish

Daily technical readings from Investing.com currently give XRP a bearish outlook. Every indicator provided carries a sell action, which shows that the weakness is not limited to one measurement.

The RSI reading of 40.213 places XRP below the neutral 50 level. XRP has not entered deeply oversold territory, so the indicator leaves room for further losses.

The MACD value remains negative at minus 0.011. That reading shows that bearish price pressure still controls the daily trend.

ADX stands at 23.199 and carries another sell action. The reading points to an established trend, though its strength remains moderate. The Ultimate Oscillator remains below 50, and Bull Bear Power stays negative.

IndicatorValueAction
RSI (14)40.213Sell
MACD (12, 26)– 0.011Sell
ADX (14)23.199Sell
Ultimate Oscillator45.831Sell
Bull Bear Power (13)– 0.046Sell

XRP price has reached a decisive part of its 2026 decline. A defence of $1 could keep the broader recovery structure alive and allow another attempt at $1.18.

A confirmed breakdown would produce a very different picture. The multiyear trend line near $0.50 could become the next major area to watch if XRP remains beneath $1.
