Everyone Calling for XRP Price Under $1 Might Be Wrong – Here’s Why

XRP price is still around $1.06 , a crucial level we mentioned in yesterday’s XRP news piece. The token has been trading in an extremely narrow range between $1.05 and $1.10 for nearly two weeks, with traders waiting for a breakout in either direction.

While most of the crypto community is calling for XRP to drop below $1.00, two analysts are presenting a contrarian view. One of them is Jay Nisbett, a relatively unknown analyst on X with roughly 4,000 followers. The other is CryptoBull, a crypto veteran with around 163,000 followers.

Jay Nisbett: Bears Can Only Hold It Down for So Long

Jay Nisbett weighed in on XRP price with an interesting take. He acknowledged that the market is officially torn on direction, even if it is edging lower at the moment.

The good news, he said, is that bulls have long-term trend working for them. Bears can only hold it down for so long against a 15-year uptrend. This inflection point is literally happening on top of the long-term, decade-long support.

Nisbett explained the market maker model: typically, the market sweeps the opposite direction of the intended move, then reverses to follow the intended direction. This is the “power of 3” – accumulation, manipulation, distribution.

His entire timeline shows retail and influencers calling for the usual sub-$1 bids ($0.95, $0.88, $0.72, etc.). That leads him to continue being positioned under the assumption that we go higher first.

He argued that it is much easier to sweep below $1 once price has moved higher, because $1 has been acting as such a strong floor. A move higher first creates FOMO for those waiting under $1, who then buy in the mid-$1s to not miss out. That helps fuel the next manipulation down.

The Fractal XRP Analysis: Repeating Patterns at Multiple Scales

Nisbett’s chart is a highly technical, multi-layered analysis using what appears to be a mix of Gann-style fan lines, cyclical arcs, and fractal pattern overlays. This is a much more advanced and subjective technique than standard trendline and support-resistance analysis.

The red arc and diagonal lines on the left side map the initial 2024-2025 volatility, with the steep red diagonal marking the sharp decline from the ~$1.30-1.55 highs down toward the ~$1.00-1.02 low.

The teal and cyan arcs in the center track a repeating cyclical rhythm. Similar dome-shaped arcs repeat across different time windows – May-June, June-July, July-August – each cresting and troughing at proportionally similar intervals. This is consistent with the “power of 3” and fractal framing: the same accumulation-manipulation-distribution pattern repeating at multiple scales.

The orange curve and dotted projections on the right side near current price are the most speculative element. They appear to be projecting forward cyclical arcs from the current consolidation zone around $1.05-1.09, suggesting the analyst sees the market at a similar “inflection” point to prior cycle repeats. The dotted lines hint at possible future path projections both up toward $1.20+ and down toward sub-$1.05 zones.

Current price is $1.0693 , right in the middle of this dense cluster of overlapping cycle projections – consistent with the market being “officially torn on direction.”

CryptoBull: “$23 XRP or $0.87? I’ll See You at $23”

CryptoBull, a crypto veteran with around 163,000 followers, weighed in with an even more aggressive take on the XRP price prediction. He tweeted:

“Those waiting for $0.87 or $0.73 I will see you at $23 for #XRP!”

His chart is a monthly XRP/USD chart with a single, dramatically steep ascending trendline drawn from the 2024 base around $0.50, connecting through the mid-2025 and 2026 consolidation zones, and projected forward to a $23 target.

The trendline connects a series of higher lows across 2024-2026 – a legitimate multi-year uptrend structure. The $23 target is extremely aggressive, since this is roughly a 21x move from the current price. This is a linear trendline extension into the far future, not a near-term technical target. There is no timeframe given on the chart for when $23 would be reached.

Caveat worth stressing: Extending a trendline this far out visually is a common way to generate a dramatic, headline-worthy number. But the further out a trendline projection extends, the less reliable it becomes. Small changes in the angle of the line – a slightly different starting point, a slightly different slope – would produce wildly different long-term targets.

This is fundamentally different from a near-term measured-move target for the XRP price, which is grounded in the specific height of a completed pattern rather than an open-ended trendline extension.

My Take on the XRP Price Action: The Narrow Range Will Eventually Break

I am not really sure where XRP price will go from here. The narrow trading range between $1.05 and $1.10 has lasted for nearly two weeks. These tight consolidations usually end in a big pump or a crash.

It can end in either direction. It depends a lot on the market and how Bitcoin and crypto in general will behave in the upcoming days. The Clarity Act is still a wildcard. The broader crypto market is still in a bear trend.

Nisbett’s fractal analysis is interesting, but it is subjective. CryptoBull’s $23 target is a headline number, not a near-term prediction. The most likely scenario is that XRP continues to chop in this range until a catalyst emerges.
