Crypto Price Prediction for Today, September 7: Bitcoin (BTC), XRP, Solana (SOL)

The crypto market is down 0.17% at $2.17 trillion, with Bitcoin dominance facing rejection near the 60% level. Also, Altcoin Open Interest has overtaken Bitcoin for the first time since December 2024, pointing to heavier leverage across major altcoins.

The XRP price is getting support from nearly $19 million in ETF inflows this week, taking cumulative net inflows to about $1.68 billion, although daily flows are becoming more mixed.

The Bitcoin price is down almost 1%, yet the Fear & Greed Index remains at 74 (“Greed”), showing that risk appetite has stayed firm. With leverage rising and key resistance levels nearby, BTC, XRP, and SOL could face wider moves today. Here is where the three coins could trade next.

Bitcoin Price Faces a Crucial $80,000 Test as Leverage Builds

We had a look at the chart, and the Bitcoin price is trading at $79,668, down 0.7%, after failing to hold above the $80,000 area.

The BTC chart shows resistance around $80,500, followed by $82,000–$82,800, whereas support is near $78,500 and then around $76,000. A break above $80,500 could give Bitcoin room to retest $82,000, but losing $78,500 would put the lower support zones under pressure.

The indicators are mixed but close to neutral. RSI is 51.03, keeping the Bitcoin price marginally above the 50 midpoint, while STOCH at 34.05 leaves room for a recovery in short-term momentum.

The Ultimate Oscillator is 50.39, almost neutral, and the MACD is 218, giving the technical setup a mild bullish bias if BTC can reclaim $80,000.

Key Factors Pushing the Bitcoin Price Presently

Bitcoin Open Interest is moving back toward elevated levels as the Bitcoin price consolidates below $80,000, increasing leverage across the derivatives market. Heavy positioning without a matching price breakout can make the order book more vulnerable to large wicks in either direction. Overleveraged traders are therefore exposed on both sides, raising the risk of stop hunts and liquidation cascades.

MicroStrategy has restarted its Bitcoin accumulation after about a 10-week pause, purchasing 4,603 BTC for roughly $369.7 million at an average price of $80,318 per BTC. Its holdings have reached about 845,050 BTC, with an average cost near $75,412, and the entire purchase was funded through new share issuance. Future company filings, the pace of equity issuance, and whether other corporations copy this Bitcoin treasury strategy remain important factors for the Bitcoin price.

Nearly 4,000 BTC worth about $319 million was withdrawn from the Blockstream-operated Liquid Network by actors claiming to be white-hat hackers, leaving the federation wallet with 207 BTC and causing Blockstream to pause the network.

The funds have remained unmoved, supporting the white-hat claim, but the incident raises concerns around sidechain security and multisig controls. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs also recorded $986.9 million in weekly inflows, taking the three-week total to $3.8 billion and ETF net assets to $101.3 billion, with G20 support for clearer crypto regulation adding another positive fundamental factor.

Bitcoin Price Prediction for Today

Bullish Prediction:

Breaking above $80,500 could push the Bitcoin price toward $82,000–$82,800.

Neutral Prediction:

BTC could remain between $78,500 and $80,500.

Bearish Prediction:

Losing $78,500 could send the Bitcoin price toward $77,000–$76,000.

XRP Price Holds $1.40 as ETF Inflows Clash With Rising Supply

We had a look at the chart, and the XRP price is trading around $1.40, down 1%, after spending several sessions inside a broad $1.35–$1.48 range.

Source: Tradingview.com

The XRP chart shows resistance near $1.47–$1.50, followed by the major $1.55 level, whereas support remains around $1.35–$1.30. XRP needs a break above $1.47 to strengthen the recovery, with $1.55 becoming the next major target if buyers clear that zone.

The indicators are close to neutral, with RSI at 50.18 showing almost equal pressure between buyers and sellers. STOCH is 36.95, leaving room for an upside move, but the Ultimate Oscillator at 45.43 gives the XRP price a mild bearish bias. The MACD is 0.0043, keeping the broader momentum positive, although XRP needs stronger buying pressure to clear $1.47.

Key Factors Pushing the XRP Price Presently

Ripple has unlocked 1 billion XRP from escrow through three scheduled transactions, leaving roughly 31% of the total supply locked. Ripple has historically re-escrowed most of these monthly releases, meaning only a few hundred million XRP typically enter effective circulation.

The key risk for the XRP price is whether more of the unlocked supply reaches exchanges instead of returning to escrow or moving through institutional channels.

The Senate’s procedural vote on the CLARITY Act has been delayed from its planned September 15 date, with the bill designed to clarify crypto oversight between the SEC and CFTC. XRP traded around $1.40–$1.42 after the news, showing a muted reaction, and XRP’s legal position is more defined after Ripple’s SEC case concluded in August 2025.

The delay is therefore more of a broad crypto-market risk, with derivatives leverage posing a more immediate concern for XRP.

U.S. spot XRP ETFs have accumulated about $1.68 billion in net inflows as of September 4, with total net assets near $1.48 billion. Bitwise’s ETF alone holds roughly 362 million XRP worth $507.5 million, providing evidence of continued institutional demand for regulated XRP exposure. This comes as XRP ETFs attracted nearly $19 million this week, down from about $110 million the previous week, so daily flows remain mixed.

XRP Price Prediction for Today

Bullish Prediction:

Breaking $1.47 could push the XRP price toward $1.50–$1.55.

Neutral Prediction:

XRP could remain between $1.35 and $1.47.

Bearish Prediction:

Losing $1.35 could expose the XRP price to $1.30–$1.25.

Solana Price Targets $110 as SOL Bulls Defend $102

We had a look at the chart, and the SOL price is trading near $105, down 1.44%, after recovering from the $97–$100 region.

Source: Tradingview.com

The Solana chart shows resistance around $107.50–$110, with a move above $110 opening the path toward $112–$115, as support is near $102 and then $97.50. SOL has maintained a series of higher lows from the September low, but buyers need to clear $110 to extend the recovery.

The indicators give SOL a more bullish technical setup than XRP. RSI is 55.69, above the neutral 50 level, and STOCH at 60.42 shows stronger short-term momentum. The Ultimate Oscillator at 41.95 remains weaker, but the MACD at 0.91 is positive, keeping the technical bias mildly bullish.

Key Factors Pushing the Solana Price Presently

Solana has added ARB trading through Sunrise, expanding the network’s multi-chain trading options and potentially bringing more volume to its decentralized markets.

Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko claimed spreads and fees can be 10 times better than rivals such as Arbitrum, although other ecosystem executives argued that total execution costs and MEV protection should also be considered. The development is positive for the SOL price if Sunrise attracts sustained trading activity.

STONK, the native token of Solana-based launchpad StonkFun, climbed more than 250% to reach a market cap of about $140 million after integrating with Raydium’s LaunchLab. The platform offers cheaper token deployments and lower sniper risk, with tokens able to pair against assets such as tokenized stocks. SOL’s official X account also endorsed the project, adding evidence of strong activity across Solana’s launchpad ecosystem.

Solana has also faced broader market pressure, with Bitcoin down 0.20% during the same period and SOL falling more than its market beta. A social media report claimed Solana ETF inflows dropped 97% week over week, from $142.7 million to $4.9 million, although the figure has not been officially confirmed. That perceived decline in institutional demand may weigh on the SOL price despite the network’s strong ecosystem activity.

Solana Price Prediction for Today

Bullish Prediction:

Breaking $110 could push the SOL price toward $112–$115.

Neutral Prediction:

SOL could trade between $102 and $110.

Bearish Prediction:

Losing $102 could expose the SOL price to $100–$97.50.
