Ledger, a provider of hardware wallets for cryptocurrencies, has announced the launch of Ledger Stax, a consumer device built on the company’s secure architecture. Ledger Stax is designed to provide unprecedented accessibility and interactivity with cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

It is scheduled to start shipping by the end of March 2023 and will be available for pre-order on the Ledger website and from select retailers, including Best Buy in the US. Ledger Stax hardware wallet features a secure element chip with a “trusted display” screen and has undergone extensive testing to ensure that it is as secure as other Ledger hardware wallets.

It is also stackable and features an E Ink technology screen that allows users to differentiate between multiple devices. In addition, Ledger Stax is the company’s first NFT-native hardware wallet, allowing users to customize the lock screen with their favourite NFT or any other image.

There are a couple of differences between the wallets, while the majority of other features are the same. The biggest difference is in the design and looks of the new Stax model. As for the functionality, it is pretty much the same as with previous models.

  1. Ledger nano s plus has mobile phone compatibility. I use it mostly with a mobile phone via usb-c.
