Ledger, a provider of hardware wallets for cryptocurrencies, has announced the launch of Ledger Stax, a consumer device built on the company’s secure architecture. Ledger Stax is designed to provide unprecedented accessibility and interactivity with cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
It is scheduled to start shipping by the end of March 2023 and will be available for pre-order on the Ledger website and from select retailers, including Best Buy in the US. Ledger Stax hardware wallet features a secure element chip with a “trusted display” screen and has undergone extensive testing to ensure that it is as secure as other Ledger hardware wallets.
It is also stackable and features an E Ink technology screen that allows users to differentiate between multiple devices. In addition, Ledger Stax is the company’s first NFT-native hardware wallet, allowing users to customize the lock screen with their favourite NFT or any other image.

If you need a secure hardware wallet for your cryptocurrencies and are trying to decide between the Ledger Nano S Plus, Ledger Nano X, and Ledger Stax, here are some things to consider:
👉 Ledger Stax is the newest and most user-friendly option, making it a good choice if you need to make frequent transactions.
👉 If you don’t need to make transactions as often and just want a secure place to store your coins, the Ledger Nano S Plus may be a better fit.
👉 The Ledger Nano X falls somewhere in between, offering ease of use that is closer to the Ledger Stax but still requiring a bit more time and effort compared to the Stax.
