Kyber Network integrates with MyEtherWallet – Exchange To be Released on April 30th

Kyber Network announced today that they have integrated their decentralized exchange with MyEtherWallet which will enable all ETH holders to do token swaps for 20 popular ERC-20 tokens, including KNC, EOS, OMG and stablecoin DAI.

My Ether Wallet is not a standard Web Wallet. It does not allow you to create an account and to store your Ether on their servers, they simply allow you create a wallet, which is yours to store and keep safe, and to broadcast your transactions on the blockchain through their full node.

With more than 14 million web visits each month, MEW is arguably the most popular Ethereum wallet out there. The website is also compatible with Geth, Mist, MetaMask, Jaxx, Ledger Nano S, and Trezor.

Kosala Hemachandra, the founder of MEW, said,

“This exciting collaboration is founded on a shared goal of protecting the privacy of our users, while making the cryptocurrency trading experience fluid and enjoyable.”

The founder and CEO of Kyber Network, Loi Luu, said,

“People around the globe know and trust the MEW brand, whether they are using the platform to set up wallets, or to send and receive money from other users. This major partnership with MEW affirms our commitment to every individual who holds cryptocurrency and cryptotokens to keep delivering the seamless and secure token swap experience they have come to expect from Kyber Network.”

By Q3, MEW and Kyber plan to extend the token swap function and allow conversion any ERC20 tokens, instead of just between tied to ETH and ERC20s swaps.  By the end of 2018, MEW and Kyber plan on implementing interoperability and cross-chain token transfer, which would give users the ability to exchange tokens between independent blockchains.

Integrating Kyber Network’s protocol with MEW’s interface will ensure liquidity and token accessibility and portfolio management capabilities; millions of users will now be able to convert tokens instantly and with ease from within their MEW wallets.

This partnership with the Ethereum wallet giant is a validation of Kyber Network’s steady growth and product development. Kyber Network has been running smoothly on the Ethereum network since February and will be officially opening our exchange to all users on April 30, 2018.
