The HBAR price has spent years testing the patience of its holders. Hedera has landed some big corporate names. The Governing Council now includes companies like FedEx and Accenture. It even secured a role in the European Central Bank’s digital euro pilot, which is expected to run into 2027.
And yet, the HBAR price is sitting near $0.075, far below where a lot of investors thought it would be by now. That gap is why some people are asking a fair question: do Hedera’s fundamentals even matter to the market anymore?

HBAR Price Keeps Disappointing: How Bad Is the Downtrend?
HBAR is trading around $0.07508 after slipping from a local high near $0.085. We had a look at the HBAR chart, and the market looks stuck between support at $0.070 and resistance at $0.080.

Momentum indicators aren’t giving a clear answer either. The RSI is at 49.29, almost perfectly neutral. The chart shows both bullish and bearish divergences. The Ultimate Oscillator is at 61.18, leaning positive, but not enough to signal a strong trend in either direction.
For now, the HBAR price is trapped in a range. Buyers have defended $0.070 several times, but every push toward $0.080 has run into sellers.

Why Hedera’s Partnerships Haven’t Translated Into HBAR Price Gains
This is probably the biggest frustration for HBAR holders. Every few months, Hedera announces another partnership, another enterprise initiative, or another development milestone. On paper, those announcements look impressive. The network’s involvement in the ECB’s digital euro testing program is a good example.
The problem is that network adoption and token demand are not always the same thing. A company can use Hedera’s technology without creating enough buying pressure to move the HBAR price. That has been one of the recurring themes throughout Hedera’s history. The ecosystem keeps growing, but investors are still waiting for that growth to show up consistently in the token’s value.
Token Supply, Demand and the Problem Facing HBAR
At its core, the HBAR price has a supply-and-demand issue. Even though adoption continues to improve, demand has not grown fast enough to absorb the available supply and create a sustained uptrend.
There have been some positive developments. The Canary spot HBAR ETF now holds more than 1.7% of the circulating supply. During a trading session where Bitcoin ETFs recorded roughly $450 million in net outflows, HBAR ETF products still attracted modest inflows of less than $500,000.
That’s encouraging, but it also shows the scale of the challenge. Bitcoin ETFs are moving hundreds of millions of dollars in a single day. HBAR’s inflows remain relatively small by comparison.
Can Hedera’s Network Growth Finally Drive Demand for HBAR?
This is where the bullish argument comes from. Hedera keeps pushing out upgrades. Earlier this year, it launched the v0.69 mainnet update. The team also rolled out new AI-focused developer tools to make building on the network easier. So the tech side is still moving forward.
If those efforts lead to more real-world usage, transaction activity could increase, staking demand could grow, and more HBAR could be needed across the ecosystem. There are also signs that larger investors are paying attention.
Market data points to accumulation near the $0.08 area, and the HBAR price continues to hold a multi-year ascending trendline that has acted as support in previous cycles.
HBAR Price Outlook: What Would It Take for a Real Comeback?
The path forward is fairly straightforward. The HBAR price needs to reclaim $0.080 first. A move above that level would put $0.085 and $0.090 in play. Those are the next resistance zones traders are watching.
The downside levels are equally important. If the HBAR price loses $0.070 support, the next areas on the chart are $0.065 and then $0.060. Outside the chart, regulation remains a factor. The failure of the CLARITY Act in the U.S.
Senate means crypto companies are still operating without a comprehensive market-structure framework, which keeps uncertainty in the background for the entire sector. So, is Hedera dead? The numbers don’t point that way. The network continues adding enterprise partners, ETF products continue attracting capital, and development activity has not slowed down.
