In our last XRP weekly prediction, we outlined three possible scenarios. We had three possible paths for XRP. If it broke above $1.50, the next stop was $1.60. If it just hung around, we’d see it chop between $1.40 and $1.50. And if it got rejected at $1.50, we’d be looking at a drop to $1.30.
The first one is happening. The XRP price climbed to $1.5024 after a 4.40% gain in one session. That $1.50 wall that had been blocking the way for days finally cracked. Buyers have also held the downside well. The short-term trend is still pointing up. So now everyone’s watching to see if XRP can stay above $1.50 and take a run at $1.60.

The XRP Price Breaks Above a Major Resistance Level
We analysed the XRP chart. The first thing that jumps out is that break above $1.50. XRP was at $1.10 in late July. From there, it ground its way up through $1.30 and kept climbing to $1.5052. The structure looks clean. Higher highs, higher lows, week after week. That’s what a healthy uptrend looks like.

Volume was solid too. 41.11 million XRP traded in the last session. People are participating. If buyers stay in control, $1.60 is the next level. Above that, $1.70 and $1.90 come into view. Those are the big ones to watch if this run keeps going. Support is equally important. The first level to watch is $1.4343, the recent session low. Below that, support zones appear near $1.30 and $1.10.
Catalysts Driving the XRP Price This New Week
Beyond price action, Ripple continues to benefit from improving regulatory sentiment in the United States. A post from X Finance Bull that got a lot of attention pointed out that Ripple reportedly spent about $150 million fighting the SEC over the years.

Now, Ripple’s CEO Brad Garlinghouse is sitting on the CFTC Innovation Advisory Committee, talking about where crypto regulation is headed. For people who’ve held XRP through the legal mess, that’s a huge shift.
The committee includes heavy hitters too, Nasdaq, CME Group, Cboe, NYSE, DTCC, all alongside crypto companies. When regulators and Wall Street start sitting at the same table, the market tends to like it. Less uncertainty usually means more confidence, and that kind of backdrop can only help XRP sentiment going forward.

Where Could the XRP Price Go This Week?
XRP is holding steady above $1.50. Buyers are in charge as long as it stays above $1.4343. If it breaks $1.5052, $1.60 is next. And if the momentum keeps rolling, $1.70 could be in play by the end of the week.
But the RSI is getting stretched. Bearish divergence is creeping in too. So a little sideways action or a dip wouldn’t be a shock before another push higher. For now, the breakout still stands. The real test is whether the XRP price can flip $1.50 from a ceiling into a floor. If that happens, things get a lot more interesting. If it does, the path higher gets a lot clearer.
