One analyst believes the Cardano price may be building a long-term base similar to the structure that preceded one of its biggest historical rallies.
360Trader shared Cardano’s weekly chart and compared the current setup with the previous cycle, when ADA eventually rallied roughly 2,000% from a depressed accumulation area.
The analyst is not calling for another 2,000% move immediately.
His first condition is much simpler: ADA needs to reclaim $0.25.
What you'll learn 👉
ADA Needs $0.25 Before the Setup Gets Interesting
The current chart shows Cardano near the lower part of a broad long-term range.
360Trader argues that the market is still well below what he would consider a true bull-market phase.
His first level to watch is around $0.25.
A recovery above that area would move ADA back above the immediate resistance zone and show that buyers are beginning to regain control.
But even then, the analyst would not consider the full bull market confirmed.

The much larger level on his chart is approximately $1.37.
That zone acted as a major historical resistance area and, in his view, ADA would need to break above it before entering a genuine bull-market stage.
From the current $0.19 area, reaching $1.37 would require a gain of more than 600%.
That shows just how far Cardano remains from the bullish scenario drawn on the chart.
Why the 2,000% Comparison Is Interesting
The historical comparison comes from ADA’s previous cycle.
Cardano spent a long period building a base at low prices before finally breaking higher. Once that range was cleared, ADA produced an explosive move that eventually carried it into multi-dollar territory.
The current structure has some similarities: prolonged weakness, heavy volume around lower levels and price once again sitting near an established accumulation area.
But similar-looking charts do not guarantee identical outcomes.
Cardano’s market capitalization is now much larger than it was before that previous 2,000% run, so producing the same percentage gain would require far more capital.
That makes $0.25 and $1.37 much more useful levels than simply assuming history repeats.

Cardano Fundamentals Are Still Moving Forward
There are also fundamental developments supporting the longer-term Cardano story.
Cardano development continues to focus heavily on scaling and governance, with Hydra and other infrastructure improvements aimed at increasing transaction capacity and making the network more usable for applications.
The ecosystem has also continued expanding its governance framework following the Voltaire-era changes, giving ADA holders a larger role in protocol decisions.
Those developments do not automatically translate into higher ADA prices.
The more important questios remain: increased network activity, DeFi usage and stablecoin liquidity eventually create stronger demand for the token itself.
Those remain some of Cardano’s biggest challenges.
What Happens Next for ADA Price?
For now, the roadmap from the chart is relatively straightforward.
ADA around $0.19 remains in the base-building stage.
A move above $0.25 would be the first meaningful improvement.
The much bigger confirmation would come if Cardano eventually breaks the $1.37 resistance that 360Trader identifies as the gateway into a true bull-market phase.
Until then, the 2,000% historical move is better viewed as context.
Overall, Cardano may have seen this type of setup before.
But this time, bulls still have several major levels to reclaim before the comparison becomes much more convincing.
