Many XRP holders assume the top 1% sits far out of reach, but the latest rich list numbers tell a more surprising story.
Analyst Mino shared fresh thresholds on X, and the full ranking data adds useful context about who really controls the supply.

Mino Shares the Latest XRP Rich List Thresholds Across 8.1 Million Funded Accounts
Mino, who posts as @Ripple_Mino, pointed out that more than 8.1 million XRP accounts are now funded. The post listed four tiers that show where a holder stands:
- Top 10%: 2,127 XRP
- Top 5%: 7,459 XRP
- Top 1%: 44,596 XRP
- Top 0.1%: 277,148 XRP
The jump between the last two tiers deserves attention. Reaching the top 0.1% takes about 6.2 times more XRP than reaching the top 1%. Mino closed the post by asking followers where they rank on the XRP Rich List.
XRP Supply Data Shows 68.7% Circulating and 31.3% Still in Escrow
Before looking at the biggest holders, it helps to understand the supply behind these rankings. The maximum supply is 100,000,000,000 XRP, and the current total is 99,985,570,953 XRP after a burn of 14,429,046 XRP. That burned amount equals 0.014% of the supply. The ledger lists 8,307,786 accounts in total.
| XRP Supply Metric | Amount | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Circulating | 68,725,965,703 XRP | 68.7% |
| Escrowed | 31,245,176,203 XRP | 31.3% |
| Burned | 14,429,046 XRP | 0.014% |
Ripple and Major Exchanges Control Most of the Top 10 XRP Rich List Positions
The top of the list looks very different from the percentile tiers above. These are the 10 largest entries by share of the total XRP supply:
| Rank | Entity | Accounts | Share of XRP |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Ripple | 30 | 39.23% |
| 2 | Upbit | 13 | 6.42% |
| 3 | Coinbase | 342 | 5.83% |
| 4 | Binance | 138 | 2.72% |
| 5 | chrislarsen | 7 | 2.53% |
| 6 | Robinhood | 6 | 2.36% |
| 7 | Bithumb | 3 | 1.82% |
| 8 | Uphold | 22 | 1.70% |
| 9 | ahbritto | 7 | 1.30% |
| 10 | Kraken | 15 | 0.95% |
Together, these 10 entries hold roughly 64.86% of all XRP. Ripple alone holds 39.23% across 30 accounts, which includes 35,100,000,000 XRP in escrow and about 4.12 billion XRP in regular balance.
Seven of the ten entries are exchanges: Upbit, Coinbase, Binance, Robinhood, Bithumb, Uphold, and Kraken. Their combined share comes to about 21.80%. Exchange wallets usually hold customer funds, so those balances do not belong to a single owner. The remaining 24.80% sits across 9,417 other accounts on the rich list, and the final 10.33% is spread outside the top 10,000.
The Gap Between the Top 1% Line and the Top 100 Holders Is Enormous
A comparison inside the list itself makes the scale clear. The 100th largest account holds about 50,000,000 XRP. That is more than 1,100 times the 44,596 XRP needed to enter the top 1%.
Another detail stands out in the data. Account 35 on the list is the Flare Core Vault, which holds 140,000,020 XRP in escrow. Entries like this show that some large balances are locked inside protocol related accounts instead of sitting in ordinary wallets.

What Could Change the XRP Rich List Rankings Next
These thresholds are a snapshot, and they can move in a few ways. If more accounts get funded, the percentile lines for XRP will adjust. If escrowed XRP moves into circulation, the 68.7% circulating share would also change.
A holder who sits just below a tier today could cross it later through new purchases, and the opposite can happen when balances drop.
