XRP Price Prediction for Today (September 26)

In our last XRP daily prediction, we laid out three possible paths. A break above $1.55 could take XRP toward $1.60 and $1.65. Holding between $1.45 and $1.55 would keep the market in consolidation. And a move below $1.45 could send it toward $1.36–$1.37, with $1.25–$1.30 as the next support zone.

XRP ended up moving through several of those levels. After finding support around the mid-$1.40s, buyers pushed it higher, taking XRP to a recent high near $1.70 before the rally cooled off. It’s since pulled back to around $1.57.

That leaves XRP at another key point. It’s still above $1.50, but buyers need to reclaim $1.60 to keep the upside going. For September 26, the main question is whether XRP breaks through $1.60 or falls back toward the $1.50–$1.45 support zone.

What Is the XRP Chart Showing?

The bigger trend still favors the bulls. XRP is sitting comfortably above its 30-day simple moving average at $1.40 and its 200-day simple moving average at $1.39. Holding above both keeps the uptrend intact and gives buyers a solid foundation to work from.

Momentum indicators are also leaning positive. The MACD remains in bullish territory, and the 14-day RSI is sitting at 62.04. That reading shows buying pressure is still present without pushing XRP into overbought territory.

We had a look at the XRP chart, and the next challenge is clear. The XRP price is testing the $1.60 area, which has become the first major barrier. If buyers manage to break through it, attention could quickly move to $1.70 and then $1.80.

Fibonacci extension levels point to even higher targets. The 127.2% extension sits near $1.76, while the 161.8% extension comes in around $1.90.

Altcoin Season Is Giving XRP Some Help

The XRP price is also benefiting from stronger conditions across the altcoin market. The Altcoin Season Index has climbed 31.11% over the past week to 59, showing that capital is flowing into altcoins instead of concentrating only in Bitcoin. That type of environment often benefits assets like XRP.

Investor sentiment remains supportive as well. The Crypto Fear and Greed Index is at 72, putting the market in “Greed” territory. Strong sentiment can keep money flowing into risk assets, but it can also leave the market exposed if enthusiasm fades.

There are already some signs of caution. Total crypto market cap dipped 0.17% over the past day, showing some investors are taking profits after the recent rally.

XRP Still Needs a Fresh Catalyst

One thing missing from the current rally is a major XRP-specific development. There have been no major protocol upgrades, regulatory announcements, or adoption updates driving the latest move. That means the XRP price is relying mainly on technical strength and the broader crypto market.

As long as altcoins continue attracting capital, that may be enough to keep the rally going. But without fresh fundamental news, XRP could become more sensitive to swings in overall market sentiment.

The shorter-term indicators show some uncertainty too. The 4-hour RSI is at 59.38, and the Ultimate Oscillator is at 54.55. Both lean bullish. But the chart contains both bullish and bearish divergences, which tells you neither side has fully taken control yet.

Where Could the XRP Price Go Next?

For now, the most important level remains $1.60. A move above that resistance could put $1.70 and $1.80 into view, with Fibonacci targets at $1.76 and $1.90 as extra upside levels to watch.

If buyers can’t break through, support starts at $1.50. Below that, traders will likely turn to $1.40 and $1.30. A deeper drop could bring $1.20, $1.10, and even the psychological $1.00 back into the conversation.

The XRP price still has the advantage because it remains above its major moving averages and continues to benefit from improving altcoin sentiment. The next step is whether buyers can finally clear $1.60 and turn it into support.
