The price of KAS, the native token of Kaspa, has seen a modest 7% increase this week to around $0.05. But according to popular crypto analyst Travladd Crypto, who has almost 400k Twitter followers, KAS could potentially 100x from its current price.
In today’s X (Twitter) thread, Travladd argued that Kaspa represents the largest innovation since Ethereum, and outlined several key innovations:
- Kaspa solves the blockchain trilemma of being decentralized, secure and scalable. Its unique BlockDAG technology allows for high throughput without sacrificing security.
- KAS is one of the fastest proof-of-work cryptos, processing up to 480,000 transactions per second. This speed does not come at the expense of security.
- Kaspa’s GhostDAG mechanism adds an extra layer of security on top of proof-of-work, making the network extremely secure.
- There was no ICO or venture capital funding for Kaspa. This avoids regulatory threats and selling pressure.
- No VC funding also means holders won’t have their investment flooded by insiders dumping tokens.
- Kaspa is working on MEV-resistant smart contracts to avoid issues that have led to lost funds on platforms like Ethereum.
Travladd argues that Kaspa’s tech puts it in a league of its own and represents the largest innovation since Ethereum. With innovations like BlockDAG and GhostDAG, KAS could be one of the most promising crypto investments if it gains further adoption.
