Lookonchain, who has been closely following Ansem’s trading journey, provided a comprehensive breakdown of the trader’s strategies and accomplishments. According to the analyst, Ansem’s success can be traced back to his early recognition of promising projects and his ability to capitalize on their growth potential.
In January 2021, when Solana was still relatively unknown, Ansem opened a position in SOL at $1.5. Over the course of 11 months, the cryptocurrency skyrocketed to $260, resulting in a staggering gain of more than 170x for the trader.
Ansem’s foresight extended to other cryptocurrencies as well. On October 30, 2023, he tweeted about Bonk, calling it a “great coin.” This endorsement was followed by a meteoric rise in BONK’s value, which exceeded $0.000047 four months later, translating to a gain of more than 80x.
Another notable success for Ansem came in the form of Dogwifhat (WIF). On December 12, 2023, he replied to @blockgraze, suggesting that WIF had the potential to become the next Shiba Inu (SHIB). Four days later, he doubled down on his conviction by tweeting “$WIF = $SHIB.” This prediction proved accurate, as WIF soared from $0.09 to $4.85, resulting in a staggering gain of more than 520x.
Lookonchain delved deeper into Ansem’s trading journey, revealing that the successful trader initially started in the crypto space back in 2017. During that time, he shared a detailed thread outlining his learning process and the materials he used to educate himself.
In 2021, Ansem took the bold step of resigning from his job to pursue cryptocurrency trading full-time. He shared insights on how to navigate the crypto markets, including when to hold Bitcoin and when to venture into altcoins.
Ansem’s trading style is characterized by a balanced approach, with 70% of his portfolio dedicated to long-term holdings and the remaining 30% allocated to more speculative, short-term trades. According to Lookonchain, successful traders like Ansem possess the ability to accept mistakes, remain humble, and control their emotions during market fluctuations.
