Kaspa may be struggling on the price chart, but recent network activity paints a very different picture.
A chart shared by the Kaspa community shows the network processing roughly 5.8 million transactions over the past seven days.
For comparison, Bitcoin recorded about 4.9 million during the same period, Litecoin around 1.25 million, Monero 180,000, Dogecoin 170,000 and Bitcoin Cash roughly 110,000.
That puts Kaspa at the top of the group by raw transaction count.
Kaspa Activity Remains Strong Despite Weak Sentiment
The timing is what makes the data interesting.
KAS has been under heavy pressure, attention has shifted toward newer launches, and broader crypto liquidity remains fragmented.
Yet the network continues to process millions of transactions.
That does not automatically make KAS undervalued. Transaction count alone does not tell us how much economic value is moving across the network, how many unique users are involved or whether activity is being driven by a small number of applications.
They declared $KAS dead. The network didn’t get the memo🗿 “Kaspa is finished.” “It’ll never come back.” Meanwhile the chain keeps running. Past 7 days: $KAS — 5.8M transactions $BTC — 4.9M $LTC — 1.25M This is happening while $KAS is down, attention has shifted, and the timeline is flooded with new launches fighting for the same liquidity. Markets can ignore a project for months, that doesn’t mean the builders stopped or the network stopped operating. When sentiment is this low, it’s fair to ask whether price is reflecting fundamentals or simply the lack of attention. Transaction counts alone won’t take $KAS into the top 10. But writing it off while the network keeps putting up these numbers deserves a second look. $KAS

Still, 5.8 million transactions in seven days is difficult to dismiss as a completely inactive chain.
Does Network Activity Support a KAS Recovery?
The bigger question is whether price is currently showing Kaspa’s fundamentals or simply weak sentiment.
Strong transaction activity can be a positive sign because it shows the network is still being used even when price momentum disappears.
But KAS still needs more than raw activity to recover sustainably.
For me, the more important confirmation would be seeing transaction growth accompanied by higher active users, stronger ecosystem activity and improving liquidity.
Until then, the data does not prove that Kaspa is ready for another major rally.
It does, however, make the idea that the network is “dead” much harder to defend.
