The question sounds simple, although the answer depends on the XRP price, personal goals, and what someone means by rich. Levi from the Levi YouTube channel broke the question into several parts, from today’s XRP holdings to future price targets and the XRP rich list.
Levi first explained that a comfortable starter level in Western markets is often around $100,000. A stronger upper middle class level is around $500,000, and the millionaire level begins near $1 million.
Based on XRP trading close to $1, Levi said investors would need a very large amount of XRP today to reach those marks. His rough breakdown placed the range from about 92,000 XRP to 926,000 XRP for the lower wealth targets.
The bigger number was far harder. Levi said someone would need around 9.26 million XRP to be considered very rich by today’s standards. He also admitted that this number is out of reach for most regular earners.

Levi then moved to the more interesting part. The amount of XRP needed drops fast if the XRP price rises.
His examples were simple:
• $2 XRP would require 500,000 XRP to reach $1 million
• $5 XRP would require 200,000 XRP to reach $1 million
• $10 XRP would require 100,000 XRP to reach $1 million
• $100 XRP would require 10,000 XRP to reach $1 million
Levi said his own long range target is $100 XRP over the next 10 years. He linked that view to Ripple partnerships, XRP Ledger adoption, real-world asset tokenization, derivatives markets, and institutional use cases.
That outlook remains ambitious. Still, Levi argued that XRP does not need to reach extreme numbers like $1,000 for smaller holders to see life changing value.
Levi Says XRP Holder Rankings Matter Too
Levi also looked at the XRP rich list. He said most XRP wallets hold under 500 XRP, which means a holder above that level already stands above many accounts in the XRP economy.
He added that 2,000 XRP may place an account near the top 10% of XRP holders. Around 7,511 XRP could place a holder near the top 5%, and roughly 45,000 XRP could place someone near the top 1%.
That part matters because wealth can be measured 2 ways. One view compares XRP value against dollars. Another view compares XRP holders against other XRP holders.
XRP Long Term Outlook Continues To Support Bullish Expectations
Levi’s discussion centered on how many XRP tokens someone might need to build substantial wealth over time. That conversation naturally leads to another question: can the XRP price realistically climb enough to make those targets possible?

Those include broader XRP Ledger adoption, stronger Spot XRP ETF inflows, greater regulatory clarity, and another Bitcoin led crypto bull market. Standard Chartered has also outlined a bullish scenario where XRP reaches approximately $12.50 by 2028 under favorable market conditions.
XRP has produced much larger rallies before. During the historic 2017 bull market, the token climbed more than 35,000% after rising from around $0.0063 to its all time high of $3.84 in January 2018.

More recently, XRP broke above its long standing trading range during November 2024 and gained roughly 294% before extending its rally into early 2025, when it traded above $3 on several exchanges.
The mathematics also show that a move toward $13 is possible, although it would require enormous capital inflows. Rising from about $1.08 to $13 represents roughly a 12x increase and would value XRP at approximately $812 billion based on its current circulating supply. That valuation would place XRP among the world’s largest financial assets.
