Here’s Why Pump.Fun (PUMP) Price Jumped 30%

Pump.fun is one of the strongest performers in crypto today. The PUMP price has climbed more than 9% over the past 24 hours and is now up over 30% in the last seven days, easily outperforming an otherwise flat crypto market.

The rally is being driven by something few meme-related tokens can claim: real protocol revenue. Pump.fun continues using 50% of its platform fees to buy back and burn PUMP tokens, creating constant buying pressure as activity on the platform remains healthy.

Also, Solana’s ecosystem continues expanding, giving Pump.fun another tailwind. With buybacks accelerating and technical momentum improving, investors are beginning to ask whether the PUMP price still has room to climb from here.

Why Is the PUMP Price Rising?

The biggest catalyst behind the rally is Pump.fun’s aggressive buyback program.

The protocol uses 50% of its revenue to purchase and permanently burn PUMP tokens. Daily revenue has climbed to $735,000, allowing the platform to consistently remove tokens from circulation.

Over the past seven days alone, Pump.fun bought back and burned $4.5 million worth of PUMP, bringing cumulative buybacks and burns to $418 million. That has removed roughly 28% of the circulating supply, reducing available tokens as demand continues growing.

The broader Solana ecosystem is also helping. Solana processed a record 1 billion transactions in a single week, reinforcing activity across applications built on the network. Since Pump.fun remains one of Solana’s largest consumer-facing platforms, stronger ecosystem activity continues supporting demand for the PUMP price.

Competition is also increasing. Uniswap launched its new token issuance platform, pools.trade, on Robinhood Chain. The new product targets the same market of simple token creation. Even so, the launch also validates continued demand for launchpad platforms, leaving Pump.fun with an opportunity to defend its market leadership through continued product development.

Here’s What the PUMP Chart Is Showing

We had a look at the PUMP chart, and buyers remain in control despite today’s small pause.

The PUMP price has had a nice run. It went from about $0.00140 in mid-July to around $0.00243 now. That’s a clean string of higher highs and higher lows, classic uptrend.

Things really picked up when buyers pushed past the $0.00220–$0.00240 zone. That area used to be resistance. Now it’s the first place to watch for support if price pulls back.

The RSI is near 65. That’s bullish, but not overheated yet. The Ultimate Oscillator is close to 50, which tells us buying pressure is still healthy, not burned out after this run.

As long as the Pump.fun price holds above $0.00240, buyers are in control. The next hurdle is $0.00260. That’s where sellers might try to step in and slow things down.

Pump.fun’s Roadmap Could Support More Growth

The big thing to watch is the GO Platform launch. That’s set for the third quarter of this year. It’s a decentralized bounty system designed to reward creators and help more tokens launch successfully. If it works, it could boost protocol fees, and those fees help fund future buybacks.

Later in 2026, Pump.fun is planning a major change to how the token works. They want to burn 36% of the total supply. On top of that, they’re looking to expand beyond Solana into other networks like Ethereum and Monad.

There’s also chatter in the community about a possible trading incentive program using PUMP tokens. But that one hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. Just something people are keeping an eye on.

Where Will the PUMP Price Go Next?

The bullish path hinges on a few things: steady protocol revenue, consistent buybacks, and the GO platform actually delivering on time. If those pieces hold together and price breaks above $0.00260, buyers could set their sights on the $0.00280–$0.00300 area next.

The middle-ground view keeps the Pump.fun price bouncing between $0.00230 and $0.00260. Buybacks soak up selling pressure, but nobody’s rushing in as they are waiting for the next big milestone on the roadmap.

The bearish case kicks in if protocol revenue dries up, Uniswap’s competing launchpad starts eating into market share, or Solana loses steam. In that scenario, the first stop down would be the old breakout zone near $0.00220. Below that, stronger support waits around $0.00200.
