Here’s Why Pump.Fun (PUMP) Price Climbed 30%

The PUMP price has come alive after weeks of sideways trading. Pump.fun is up 19% in just one day. Price is now about $0.001965. In the past week, it has pumped over 30%.

Daily trading volume jumped more than 500%. That’s not normal. That’s people piling in with real money. You don’t get that kind of action unless fresh cash is flooding in.

So what’s driving it? A few things. Influencers are talking about it. The platform itself has solid fundamentals. And there’s this whole renewed hype around Solana memecoins that’s pulling people in.

Why Is the PUMP Price Rising Today?

People are starting to believe in Pump.fun’s business. That’s one of the real reasons it is pumping hard.

That Solana launchpad has now sold over $800 million worth of SOL. That’s real money moving through their system. And when you look at their lifetime revenue, around $1.2 billion, it puts them up there with some of the most profitable apps in crypto.

So traders are looking at those numbers and thinking, “Okay, this thing actually makes money.” And if it makes money, maybe the token still has room to run. That’s the logic anyway.

Social sentiment has also changed quickly. Crypto influencer Kaff argued that PUMP’s fundamentals, including roughly $1–2 million in daily revenue and a price-to-earnings ratio near 1, were not enough to move the market until influencer Ansem disclosed a $1.5 million PUMP purchase.

CoinGecko also noted that the PUMP price climbed more than 23% after Ansem published his investment thesis, helping attract fresh buyers.

Trading activity supports the rally. Daily volume jumped more than 512% to $164.07 million, giving the move much stronger confirmation than a low-volume pump. Also, Pump.fun continued benefiting from viral launches such as Jimothy the Raccoon (JIMOTHY), whose 186% rally generated over $36 million in trading volume, increasing activity across the entire Pump.fun ecosystem.

Pump.Fun Buybacks Could Become a Major PUMP Price Catalyst

One reason many investors remain optimistic is Pump.fun’s aggressive token buyback program. Market analyst Axel Bitblaze pointed out that the platform has already spent around $410 million buying back PUMP tokens and has permanently burned 151.1 billion PUMP, eliminating more than 15% of the original supply.

The numbers become even more interesting when compared with token unlocks. Pump.fun is buying $400,000 worth of PUMP every day, equal to nearly $12.85 million per month. Team and investor unlocks are estimated at roughly $12 million monthly, meaning buybacks are almost completely absorbing the new supply entering the market.

If Pump.fun’s revenue remains stable, this balance could continue supporting the PUMP price. If memecoin trading returns to the levels seen during previous market cycles, daily revenue could increase further, allowing buybacks to exceed unlocks and tightening available supply over time.

What Is the PUMP Chart Showing?

We had a look at the chart, and buyers have completely changed the short-term structure. For weeks, the PUMP price was stuck between $0.00140 and $0.00170. Just bouncing around, going nowhere.

Then came one big green candle that broke right through that ceiling. Price shot past $0.0020 for a bit before pulling back slightly.

The indicators back up what we’re seeing. Ultimate Oscillator is at 64.58, buyers are in charge, but they haven’t gone overboard yet. Stochastic is up at 76.60 and 82.79, so we’re getting into overbought territory after that big run.

Here’s something worth watching, that old resistance around $0.00170 could flip and become support now. If buyers hold that line, the short-term picture stays positive.

The first test for bulls is getting back above $0.0020 and staying there. If they can clear that session high near $0.00205, it could pull in more buyers chasing the move higher.

PUMP Price Prediction: Where Could Pump.Fun Go Next?

If PUMP stays above $0.00190 and buyers push back over $0.00205, the uptrend is still alive. Next stop would be $0.00220. And if volume stays high and influencers keep pumping it, we could see $0.00240 next.

But there’s another way this plays out. Price could just drift between $0.00180 and $0.00205 for a bit. People taking profits after that 30% weekly run. That would let the indicators cool down without breaking the overall trend. That’s the neutral scenario.

The bearish side? That starts if the PUMP price drops below $0.00180. Then you could see it selling down to $0.00170. Break that, and we’re looking at the old range around $0.00150 to $0.00160.

But even then, there are reasons buyers would step in, strong buybacks, the platform keeps making money, and the ecosystem is growing. So there’s real support underneath, not just empty hype.
