The Bitcoin price reaching $1 million is something many analysts in crypto have predicted, and one of them is Cathie Wood. Ark Invest’s CEO recently doubled down on her ultra-bullish view, saying Bitcoin could climb past that level within five years. Wood argues that Bitcoin is fast becoming the preferred store of value over gold, with stronger regulation, accelerating stablecoin adoption, and institutional interest setting up the next major crypto rally.
Analyst Levi Rietveld, speaking in a video highlighted by TheCryptoBasic, connected this forecast directly to XRP. He believes that if Bitcoin really does reach $1 million, XRP could surge to $100 or more. Rietveld sees massive capital inflows spilling beyond Bitcoin into altcoins, and XRP – with its established payment utility – emerging as one of the biggest winners. He also pointed to XRP’s strong performance over the past eight months as early proof of that momentum.

Rietveld isn’t alone in this call. Veteran investor Steve Shultz compared the potential of a $5,000 investment in XRP with the same amount in Bitcoin. His numbers show that if BTC climbs to $1 million, the Bitcoin stake might grow to about $41,400. But if XRP hits $100, that same $5,000 would become roughly $155,800 – more than five times the profit.
The math for today’s XRP holders is striking. XRP trades around $3, up over 400% in a year, while Bitcoin has gained about 96% in the same time. A run to $100 would mean a 3,471% return, turning a 10,000 XRP bag worth $28,000 today into $1 million.
Rietveld also linked XRP’s upside to macro trends. He pointed to rising government debt, tariffs, and high interest costs as inflationary pressures. A weaker U.S. dollar or lower interest rates, he argued, could provide the liquidity XRP needs to rocket higher. He even described Bitcoin as a “beta test coin” – a pioneer but not the ultimate blockchain for real-world utility – while placing his strongest conviction on XRP as a long-term investment.
Whether XRP truly reaches $100 will depend on global adoption, regulatory clarity, and of course whether Bitcoin ever touches $1 million. But Rietveld’s view, as shared in TheCryptoBasic’s thread, is straightforward: if Bitcoin hits that milestone, XRP could deliver one of the biggest percentage gains in the market.
