Cardano holders can be fairly happy with how the ADA price has opened the new week.
ADA is up roughly 2.5% today and has moved back above $0.255 for the first time since early Saturday. That follows a volatile few days in which Cardano dropped toward $0.223 before recovering back into the mid-$0.25 area.
The latest move does not completely change the broader structure, but it does show that buyers are still willing to defend dips below $0.25.
What you'll learn 👉
ADA Price Reclaims $0.255
The two-hour chart shows Cardano recovering steadily from the October 8 low near $0.2235.
Over the past 48 hours, the ADA price moved from the mid-$0.24 area back toward $0.255, briefly pulled back, and then returned to the same resistance zone.
That makes $0.255-$0.258 the first area to watch now.
If ADA can hold above $0.255, the next target becomes $0.26. A stronger move could then put $0.265 back on the table.
Support sits around $0.25 first, followed by $0.245-$0.247.

The momentum indicators have improved as well.
RSI readings are around 63, 58 and 54 across the shorter periods, which points to stronger buying momentum without ADA being deeply overbought.
MACD has turned slightly positive again, with the fast line above the signal line and a small green histogram.
CCI is around 77, which also confirms that momentum has moved back in favor of buyers.
Overall, the short-term setup is improving, but the Cardano price still needs to clear $0.258-$0.26 before the move becomes more convincing.
Why Is ADA Price Up? Cardano Ecosystem Has a Busy Week Ahead
Besides the whole market recovering today (which is likely the first reason), ADA price might be up since Cardano also has several ecosystem events scheduled this week.
The Cardano community calendar lists a CIP Editors Meeting for Wednesday, October 13 at 16:00 UTC.
Friday, October 15 includes a CAP Review at 07:00 UTC and Developer Office Hours at 14:00 UTC.
Fresh week, fresh events. Here’s where you can plug into the Cardano ecosystem this week 👇 📅 Wed, Oct 13 • 16:00 UTC – CIP Editors Meeting (Cardano CIP Calendar • Robert Phair (@COSDpool) 📅 Fri, Oct 15 • 07:00 UTC – CAP Review (@IntersectMBO) • 14:00 UTC – Developer Office Hours (@DarlisaGC) Want to find more events? These events are not direct price catalysts on their own, but they help keep development and governance activity visible during a week in which ADA is trying to rebuild momentum.
What Comes Next for ADA?
The immediate question is whether Cardano can turn $0.255 into support.
If it does, $0.26 becomes the next obvious target, followed by $0.265.
If ADA fails again around $0.255-$0.258, the price could move back toward $0.25 and possibly $0.245.
For now, however, the start of the week is clearly more encouraging than the end of the last one.
ADA has recovered from the $0.223 area, momentum indicators have improved, and buyers are once again testing the upper end of the recent range.
