According to posts from X users @BtwCrypto and @Beyond_Dollar, when queried about the likelihood of Litecoin breaching $1,000 in 2024, ChatGPT reportedly pegged the chances at a substantial 20%.
For context, Litecoin is a cryptocurrency created in 2011 as a fork of Bitcoin. While sharing similarities with Bitcoin, it differs in aspects such as faster transaction confirmation times and a higher maximum supply. As of this writing, Litecoin is trading at around $90, with a market capitalization of over $6 billion.
The 20% projection from the AI has raised eyebrows in the crypto community, with some viewing it as an ambitious forecast given Litecoin’s historical price trajectory. Achieving $1,000 would represent an increase of over 1,000% from current levels.
