XRP Price Is Weak, But Millionaire Wallets Are Sending a Bullish Signal

XRP is showing some life today, rising roughly 2% to around $1.27, but the more interesting development may be happening away from the price chart.

Santiment reports that the number of wallets holding at least 1 million XRP has reached 2,147, the highest level seen in 2026.

That group has added 28 wallets in only 10 days, including 18 new 1M+ XRP addresses over the past three days.

The timing makes the trend particularly interesting because large-wallet growth is accelerating after months of weakness in XRP price.

XRP Millionaire Wallets Are Growing as Price Remains Depressed

Santiment’s chart shows a noticeable divergence between price and large-holder activity.

XRP traded above $1.60 in September before falling toward the $1.20-$1.30 region.

Yet during much of that decline, the number of wallets holding at least 1 million XRP continued moving higher.

The count is now above its previous 2026 peaks and at its highest level since December 2025.

In simple terms, large XRP balances are becoming more common even though price is considerably below its recent highs.

That is usually more constructive than seeing large wallets disappear during a selloff.

Is This Proof XRP Whales Are Accumulating?

Not quite.

A rising number of 1M+ XRP wallets can be consistent with accumulation, but wallet data has limitations.

One investor can control several addresses, exchanges and custodians can redistribute XRP between wallets, and the metric does not reveal exactly who owns each address.

Still, the trend is difficult to dismiss.

An address needs around $1.27 million worth of XRP at today’s price to qualify for the group. Adding 28 addresses above that threshold in 10 days represents a meaningful change in the distribution of large balances.

The fact that this happened while XRP was struggling rather than rallying makes the signal more interesting.

$1.30 Is the First Test for XRP Bulls

Santiment identifies the $1.20-$1.25 region as an important area for the longer-term setup.

XRP has now moved slightly above that zone and is trading around $1.27.

The next test is $1.30.

If XRP reclaims $1.30 and then $1.40 while the number of million-plus XRP wallets stays above roughly 2,140 or continues increasing, price action would begin confirming the on-chain signal.

That would be considerably more convincing than whale-wallet growth alone.

For now, XRP remains far from confirming a larger breakout.

But price rising 2% today while the number of millionaire wallets reaches a 2026 high gives bulls something they did not have during much of the recent decline: evidence that large balances are increasing rather than leaving the network.
