XRP price is about to enter the first full week of November trying to recover from one of its most violent selloffs in months.
The token is trading around $1.25 on October 31 after briefly falling to roughly $1.20 during the crypto market crash triggered by the Binance security breach.
Only a few days earlier, XRP had recovered toward $1.33-$1.34. That move disappeared quickly once the broader market started selling off. XRP fell more than 7% during the worst phase of the Binance-driven decline, as more than $1.5 billion in leveraged crypto positions were liquidated across the market.
The encouraging part is that XRP did not stay at $1.20 for long.
Buyers stepped in around $1.199, and price has since recovered toward $1.25. The question for November 2-8 is whether that was the beginning of a real recovery or simply the first bounce after a liquidation event.

XRP Chart Shows Buyers Returning, but the Trend Is Not Fixed Yet
The two-hour Binance chart shows just how much damage XRP has taken during October.
At the beginning of the month, XRP traded above $1.50. It then developed a clear sequence of lower highs, eventually falling toward $1.27 before the Binance hack accelerated the move.
The October 30 capitulation pushed XRP to approximately $1.1991.
Since then, price has stabilized between roughly $1.23 and $1.26.
That gives us the first important level for next week.

The $1.20-$1.23 region is now the immediate support zone. Buyers defended it during an extremely stressful market event, so another successful test would strengthen the argument that a short-term floor is developing.
Above current price, $1.27-$1.30 is the first obstacle.
XRP spent considerable time around this area before the crash. Reclaiming it would put price back inside its previous trading range rather than leaving the latest move as only a rebound from oversold conditions.
Beyond that, $1.33-$1.35 is more important. XRP attempted to break through this region shortly before the Binance incident and failed.
A move above $1.35 would therefore be the first convincing sign that the structure is improving.
Momentum Has Improved From the Crash Lows
The indicators are starting to look better, although they are not giving a fully bullish signal yet.
The shortest RSI reading has recovered to approximately 57.
That is notable because it has moved back above the neutral 50 level after the extreme weakness during Thursday’s crash.
The medium and longer RSI readings remain lower, around 47 and 45.
That difference tells us something useful.
Very short-term momentum has recovered faster than the underlying trend.
In other words, buyers have returned, but XRP still needs more time or a stronger price move before the recovery becomes visible across the broader momentum readings.
MACD is also improving.
The MACD line remains slightly below zero, but it has crossed above its signal line and the histogram has turned positive. That is an early recovery signal rather than confirmation of a new uptrend.
CCI has recovered to roughly 79 as well, which shows that the severe downside momentum from the crash has faded.
Taken together, the indicators favor stabilization and a possible relief bounce, but they do not yet justify assuming XRP immediately returns toward $1.40-$1.50.

XRP Had a Huge News Week, but the Market Crash Overshadowed It
What makes XRP’s latest price performance particularly interesting is that Ripple had one of its busiest news weeks of the year.
Ripple received final OCC approval on October 26 to establish Ripple National Trust Bank. The federally supervised entity will support RLUSD reserves and provide fiduciary digital asset custody services.
Ripple Swell then brought several institutional announcements.
BNY expanded its relationship with Ripple and added support for both XRP and RLUSD on its Digital Asset Custody platform.
C2FO also announced plans to bring financing and settlement activity for its Instant Pay product onto the XRP Ledger, using RLUSD for settlement. C2FO says its existing programs have facilitated more than $520 billion in working capital.
Ripple also said it is approaching a $900 million annualized product revenue run rate and now works with more than 1,700 institutions, corporations and enterprises across its products.
Coinbase separately expanded RLUSD across its retail and institutional platforms, including support on the XRP Ledger.
Those developments did not protect XRP from the Binance-driven market crash.
That is an important reminder that strong project-specific news can be overwhelmed when the entire crypto market enters a forced-selling event.
But they could become more relevant again if broader market conditions settle next week.
