This Kaspa Liquidity Map Shows Why KAS Has Gone Sideways

Kaspa is trading inside a tight range, and the latest liquidity map helps explain why price has struggled to establish a clear direction.

Kaspa Daily points to large liquidity concentrations both above and below the current market.

The main upper zone runs from roughly $0.0365 to $0.0385, while a second cluster sits below price around $0.0345-$0.0350.

KAS is currently trading close to $0.035, leaving price almost directly between those two areas.

That creates a simple setup: one side of the range probably needs to be cleared before the next larger move develops.

What the Kaspa Liquidity Map Shows

The brightest horizontal bands on the map represent areas where liquidity is heavily concentrated.

Above current price, several dense bands appear between approximately $0.0365 and $0.0385.

That makes the area difficult for buyers because KAS would need to move through several layers of liquidity before reaching cleaner territory above $0.039.

Below price, another concentration appears around $0.035 and extends toward roughly $0.0345.

Price has already reacted several times around $0.035, showing that buyers are still active there.

The chart therefore looks less like a clean trend and more like a market being pulled between two liquidity pools.

Kaspa remains caught between significant liquidity clusters on both sides of the market.

Sell-side liquidity is concentrated above the current price, particularly around $0.0365–$0.0385, while substantial buy-side liquidity sits below, near $0.0350–$0.0345.

With liquidity stacked in both directions, KAS remains range-bound at the moment.— Kaspa Daily (@DailyKaspa) October 26, 2026

If KAS pushes above $0.0365, I would watch $0.037-$0.038 next.

A move through $0.0385 would be much more convincing and could reopen the path toward $0.039-$0.040.

The bearish path starts with a loss of $0.035.

If that support gives way, $0.0345 becomes the next area to watch.

KaspaDollar Adds a New Fundamental Angle

There is also a fresh ecosystem development behind the scenes.

KaspaDollar, led by core developer Asa Efstroem, is trying to raise 5 million KAS by January 1, 2027 to build a decentralized, overcollateralized stablecoin native to Kaspa. If the funding target is not reached, contributions are expected to be refunded.

The project follows the Toccata hard fork, which activated on Kaspa mainnet in June and introduced native Layer 1 covenant programmability along with infrastructure for more advanced applications.

That is important because KaspaDollar would give the network something it has lacked: a native dollar-denominated asset designed specifically for Kaspa rather than depending entirely on assets bridged from other chains.

The project is still in the funding stage, so it should not be treated as a finished product.

But it fits into a broader trend around Kaspa.

KCC-20 and related covenant standards have recently reached final status, and developers are also testing privacy tools and other programmable applications on top of the Toccata upgrade.

My Kaspa Price Outlook

I would not try to predict direction before the current range breaks.

For me, the cleaner levels are:

ScenarioKAS price path
BullishBreak $0.0365 → $0.037-$0.0385
Stronger recoveryClear $0.0385 → $0.039-$0.040
Range continues$0.035-$0.0365
BearishLose $0.035 → $0.0345

The interesting part is that the technical and fundamental stories are moving differently.

Price is still stuck near the bottom of its recent range, yet Kaspa’s developer ecosystem continues adding pieces that could support more activity over time.

KaspaDollar alone will not send KAS higher.

But if funding succeeds and the project reaches development, it could become another test of whether Toccata’s programmability can turn into actual applications people use.

For now, I would watch $0.035 below and $0.0365 above.
