XRP may have found a local bottom near $1.25, if the latest on-chain signal flagged by analyst Ali Martinez holds up.
Ali pointed to a massive jump in XRP Ledger transaction volume as price hovered around the $1.25 support zone. The total dollar value transferred on-chain reportedly jumped to roughly $49.7 billion, far above the levels seen over the previous several days.
The timing is what makes the move interesting.
The activity spike appeared as XRP was testing one of its most important short-term support areas, and price has since started to rebound.
Why Ali Thinks $1.25 Could Be the Bottom
Ali’s argument is based on the combination of price and network activity.
His chart shows XRP transaction volume remaining comparatively subdued on October 16, 17 and 18 before exploding on October 19. The final bar reaches roughly $49.66 billion, an enormous jump from the prior readings.
Ali interprets that surge as evidence that meaningful activity entered the market around $1.25.
XRP: THE BOTTOM IS IN Transaction volume on the $XRP Ledger exploded last night as prices hovered around the $1.25 support. The total dollar value of coins transferred on-chain skyrocketed to $49.70 billion, coinciding with the rebound that is now taking place. This surge in on-chain activity around such a critical support level suggests that $1.25 could mark the bottom. As long as this support continues to hold, $XRP could be on track for a bull rally toward $2.

In his words, the spike “suggests that $1.25 could mark the bottom.”
That does not prove every transaction represented buying. Large on-chain volume can come from exchange transfers, institutional movements, internal wallet activity or other flows. Still, when unusually high activity appears at an important support level and price rebounds at the same time, it becomes worth watching.

XRP Price Prediction: Can $2 Really Come Next?
Ali’s bullish condition is straightforward.
As long as XRP continues holding the $1.25 area, he believes the token could begin a larger recovery toward $2.
From $1.25 to $2 would equal roughly 60% upside.
I would still treat $2 as a conditional target rather than an immediate destination. XRP would first need to reclaim nearby resistance around $1.30, then work through higher zones that have rejected price during the recent decline.
The more important signal right now is whether $1.25 continues to hold after the volume spike.
If it does, Ali’s bottom call becomes more credible.
If XRP loses $1.25 decisively, then the on-chain surge may have marked heavy activity around support without actually confirming a durable low.
