A member of the XRP community is pushing back against the idea that XRP holders are simply becoming tired of waiting for higher prices.
X user MRCΛULIMΛN argued that part of the frustration comes from unrealistic expectations, with some holders waking up every day expecting an explosive XRP move and becoming disappointed when it does not happen.
His broader message is that XRP should not be viewed only as an asset to trade or hold until a certain price target arrives.
What you'll learn 👉
“Learn What You Hold”
In his post, MRCΛULIMΛN argued that many holders spend too much time following XRP price predictions and too little time exploring what can already be built or used on the XRP Ledger.
He said users do not need to be developers to participate.
His examples included launching an online business, selling merchandise for XRP, trading NFTs and using XRPL-based payment tools.
He pointed specifically to MONOLITH, an XRPL-based platform he is associated with, as an example of that approach.
The platform, he said, includes a merchandise store, NFT marketplace, peer-to-peer payments, storefronts and digital “tiles” that users can claim and build around.
I saw a post saying the $XRP community is tired. Dude, the people who have no idea what they’re holding are tired. Their own fantasies are wearing them out. They wake up every morning expecting something ridiculous to happen, and when it doesn’t, they’re disappointed all over again. There aren’t nearly enough people who actually understand what $XRP is or what they can do with it. And before someone gets offended and tells me they’re not a builder, I’m not talking about being a developer. Use your $XRP. Start an online business. Open a merch store. Sell NFTs. Build something that generates revenue. You don’t have to sit around trading $XRP or waiting for the price to explode to make money. Most of you probably haven’t seen anything like MONOLITH yet, and you’re missing opportunities that already exist on the XRPL. Go explore what we’ve built at @monolith_xrpl. Start at the entrance page. Open the Merch Store and see how people can sell physical products for $XRP. Visit the NFT Marketplace, where people can list, buy, and sell NFTs. Head over to the Wall and explore people’s tiles. Check out the storefronts, P2P payments, and other utilities we’ve built directly around the XRPL. MONOLITH is live. People are using it, claiming coordinates, opening storefronts, and creating opportunities for themselves. We’re continuing to expand what people can do with their tiles. There’s an entire ecosystem available right now, and people are so obsessed with price predictions that they’re missing opportunities right in front of them. Stop letting people fill your head with bullshit predictions that do nothing but waste your time. Learn what you hold, understand how it works, and take advantage of what’s already being built. You might be surprised at what you can accomplish with $XRP without ever needing a ridiculous price prediction.

Those statements about MONOLITH come from his own description of the project and should be treated as claims from someone involved with the platform.
A Different View of the XRP Debate
Most XRP discussion still revolves around price targets, institutional adoption, regulation and whether the token can revisit previous highs.
MRCΛULIMΛN is arguing for a different way of looking at the asset.
Instead of asking only how high XRP could trade, he wants holders to ask what they can actually do with XRP and XRPL today.
That does not mean price is irrelevant.
For investors, price performance is obviously still important.
But his criticism is aimed at the idea that XRP ownership should consist entirely of waiting for an extreme prediction to come true.

My (Honest) Take
The useful part of his argument is not that every XRP holder needs to build a business.
It is that utility claims are stronger when people can point to products that are actually being used.
If XRPL wants to grow beyond speculation, applications, payments, marketplaces and real user activity are ultimately more meaningful than another $10, $50 or $100 XRP prediction.
For now, his post shows a big tension inside parts of the XRP community.
