The SUI price and the NEAR price are heading into the new week after delivering some of the strongest gains among major altcoins. NEAR has climbed from around $2.00 to $5.44, while the SUI price has moved from roughly $0.70 to $1.26.
There is more behind these rallies than price action alone. NEAR traders are closely watching the launch of the Bitwise NEAR ETF (NRR), which is expected to begin trading around September 29. Since the fund will hold and stake NEAR, strong inflows could create additional demand for the token.
SUI also has institutional support on its side. The 21Shares Spot SUI ETF (TSUI) has been trading on Nasdaq since February 2026, giving investors a regulated way to gain exposure to the asset. At the same time, Sui’s upcoming S2 upgrades are introducing gasless stablecoin transfers and confidential transactions, both aimed at increasing activity on the network.

Can SUI Price Keep Climbing After Last Week’s Surge?
We had a look at the SUI chart, and buyers are still in control for now. The SUI price is trading at $1.2638, just below the important $1.30 resistance level. If that level gives way, the next target sits around $1.40.
The technical indicators show that momentum remains positive, but traders should not ignore the warning signs. The RSI is at 71.20, which puts the SUI price in overbought territory. The Ultimate Oscillator remains healthy at 59.57, though bearish divergence signals have started appearing near resistance.

The fundamentals are still supportive. Institutional products continue to expand access to SUI, and the network’s upcoming upgrades could make transactions easier for users and developers. The challenge comes from token supply. Around 13.26 million SUI tokens are scheduled to be unlocked on September 30, creating additional supply that the market will need to absorb.
As long as the SUI price stays above $1.20, the trend remains constructive. A move above $1.30 could bring $1.40 into focus. If sellers gain control, support levels sit at $1.20, $1.10, and then the psychological $1.00 mark.
NEAR Price Faces Its Next Major Test
The NEAR price is trading at $5.441 and is getting closer to a major resistance zone around $6.00. From a technical perspective, the trend remains strong. The Ultimate Oscillator is at 58.27, which keeps momentum on the bullish side. The RSI is at 67.96, close to overbought territory but not quite there yet.
One thing traders are paying attention to is the appearance of four bearish divergence signals on the RSI. Those often appear when a rally begins to lose steam. Fundamentally, NEAR has plenty going on. The upcoming ETF launch could bring fresh demand if investors show interest.

The network has also continued expanding, with NEAR Intents processing more than $27 billion in volume and new upgrades introducing features such as quantum-resistant signatures and dynamic resharding.
That said, the market is becoming crowded. Futures open interest is close to $1.56 billion, which increases the risk of volatility if traders start locking in profits. For now, the key level remains $6.00. A clean break above it could open the door to $6.50. If buyers fail to clear resistance, the NEAR price could revisit support at $5.00 or even $4.50.
SUI and NEAR Price Forecast: Rally Continues or Pullback Ahead?
Both the SUI price and the NEAR price remain in clear uptrends, supported by ETF developments, network growth, and strong investor interest. The challenge is that both assets are running into resistance after very large moves higher. The SUI price is testing $1.30 with an RSI above 70, and the NEAR price is approaching $6.00 with bearish divergence appearing on momentum indicators.
For the week ahead, the bullish case stays intact if SUI holds above $1.20 and NEAR remains above $5.00. A breakout above $1.30 for SUI could push the token toward $1.40, while a move through $6.00 could send the NEAR price toward $6.50. If those resistance levels hold, a short-term cooldown would not be surprising. After rallies of this size, markets often need time to reset before deciding on the next major move.
