ADA Price Could See One More Rally, But Here’s the Problem for Cardano Bulls

The Cardano price is moving at $0.1741, down 0.35%, with trading volume also falling 23% over the past day. That weaker activity matters because Cardano is entering a period packed with major catalysts.

The Dijkstra Era roadmap targets Phase 1, featuring Nested Transactions and Linear Leios, for Q4 2026, followed by Ouroboros Peras in Q2 2027. The Hard Fork Working Group is also coordinating the next upgrade process.

But there is a problem for Cardano bulls: the chart still lacks a confirmed bullish structure, and a major governance deadline is approaching on September 1. Here is where the ADA price could go next.

Cardano Price Faces a Technical Decision

More Crypto Online’s analysis keeps the ADA price in a corrective range and identifies a possible B-wave bounce from current support. The key upside area is $0.186–$0.22, but the chart shows several resistance levels inside that zone.

On the chart, the ADA price is trading near the 61.8% Fibonacci level at $0.1733, with support around $0.1641 and a deeper support zone near $0.1502. If buyers push higher, the first Fibonacci targets are $0.1855, $0.1911, $0.1953 and $0.2027. The larger Fibonacci resistance levels are $0.1999, $0.2182 and $0.2471.

That is why a rally alone would not confirm a trend reversal. The Cardano price needs to reclaim resistance and hold it.

Cardano Governance Risk Could Limit the Rally

The biggest fundamental problem is the Constitutional Committee vote. Four of Cardano’s seven committee seats expire at epoch 653 on September 1, 2026. If the renewal vote fails, only three members would remain, below the required minimum of five.

That could freeze most major on-chain governance actions, including protocol upgrades and treasury withdrawals, although transactions and block production would continue normally.

As of August 17, the renewal had only 32.46% DRep support, compared with the 67% threshold cited for approval. That leaves a sizeable voting gap with the deadline less than two weeks away.

For bulls, this matters because Dijkstra itself requires governance approval before activation. Phase 1 targets Q4 2026 and brings Linear Leios and Nested Transactions, with Peras planned for Q2 2027.

Where Will Cardano Price Go Next?

The first path is a short-term B-wave recovery. If the ADA price holds around $0.1733, buyers could push toward $0.1855, followed by $0.1911 and $0.1953. This matches the corrective-wave setup highlighted by More Crypto Online.

A stronger move would take the ADA price through $0.1953 and into the $0.1999–$0.2027 resistance area. A rejection there would keep the broader corrective structure intact.

If buyers reclaim $0.2027 and hold it as support, the next major targets are $0.2182 and then $0.2471. That would provide much stronger evidence that the corrective phase is ending.

The bearish case starts if the Cardano price loses the $0.1641 support zone. The chart then points toward $0.1502. A move below that level would weaken the bullish case considerably.

For now, the clearest setup is a possible rally, but bulls still need confirmation above resistance. The $0.186–$0.2027 region is the key test.
