Avalanche price has spent several years trying to recover from a painful decline that erased most of its previous value. AVAX has now returned to a familiar support area where buyers have repeatedly stepped forward, and the latest three day recovery offers an early reason for optimism.
That recovery still comes with a major risk. Avalanche price remains trapped below resistance that has rejected every serious advance since June 2026. Stronger network activity may support another attempt, although buyers need more than a brief price bounce before the wider structure can change.

Avalanche Price Returns to a Support Area That Has Held Since 2021
AVAX reached its all time high near $150 during 2021 before entering a prolonged decline. Avalanche price continued losing value through 2022 and never produced a lasting return toward its former peak.
The area between $5.80 and $6.50 has become especially important during that decline. Buyers have defended this region several times since 2021, and AVAX has repeatedly avoided a confirmed breakdown below it.
This week started with another decline toward the same area. Avalanche price then reversed direction and recorded an upward move across the past 3 days. That recovery shows buyers are still prepared to defend the historical base, although it does not confirm a wider breakout.
The current setup contains several important levels:
- Avalanche price has major support between $5.80 and $6.50.
- AVAX has repeatedly recovered after testing this area.
- Resistance near $7 has blocked advances since June 2026.
- A stronger breakout could open the route toward $8.50.
- Further confirmation above $8.50 could expose $10 next.
AVAX must first escape its narrow range before any larger targets become realistic. Previous recoveries from the lower boundary have ended near resistance, which creates the main danger for buyers entering after a few positive sessions.
Avalanche RWA Transfer Volume Increased 360% Within 30 Days
Network data provides one explanation for the recent strength. AMk.Crypto reported that Avalanche recorded $365.29 million in real world asset transfer volume across 30 days. That represented an increase of 360.15% during the period.
The activity covered tokenized money, stocks, and private credit moving through the Avalanche network. Such growth indicates that Avalanche is processing more activity connected to assets beyond standard cryptocurrency transfers.
RWA activity matters because Avalanche was designed to support customizable blockchains with fast transaction finality and scalable infrastructure. Projects can create specialized networks instead of forcing every application onto the same general purpose chain.
0xNaveed noted that this structure could become valuable if more applications move onchain. Specialized networks may serve different industries, companies, and financial products without relying on one shared design for every use case.
Stronger Avalanche RWA activity gives AVAX buyers a fundamental development to watch. Price confirmation remains necessary because network expansion does not guarantee that the AVAX price will immediately break resistance.
Cross Chain Data Reveals the Main Risk Behind the AVAX Recovery
Cross chain activity presents a more complicated picture. Rango reported that AVAX recorded more than $200 million in cross chain flow, although outflows exceeded inflows by $17 million.
What about AVAX? 👀$AVAX recorded over $200M in cross-chain flow, with outflows exceeding inflows by $17M!

Not every AVAX corridor played the same role: BSC supported balanced two-way activity, while Ethereum acted as the main liquidity sink. The flow was directional, but not… pic.twitter.com/Q10BMxYbJL
Different Avalanche corridors served different purposes during that period. BSC supported relatively balanced movement in both directions, whereas Ethereum received more liquidity from Avalanche than it returned.
Rango described AVAX as a routing layer instead of the final destination for much of this liquidity. The result does not represent a complete departure from the Avalanche network, although the $17 million difference shows that capital retention remains an issue.
This distinction matters for the Avalanche price outlook. High cross chain volume proves that users are moving funds through the ecosystem, but AVAX may receive limited price support if much of that capital eventually settles elsewhere.
| Avalanche Metric | Latest Reading | Possible Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| RWA transfer volume | $365.29 million | More tokenized assets moved through Avalanche |
| RWA growth over 30 days | 360.15% | Network activity increased rapidly |
| Cross chain flow | More than $200 million | Avalanche remained active across several networks |
| Net cross chain difference | $17 million in excess outflows | More liquidity left than entered |
| Major AVAX support | $5.80 to $6.50 | Buyers have defended this historical area |
| Main breakout target | $8.50 | Price needs this level before a larger advance |
The risk is therefore easy to identify. Avalanche activity can increase without producing enough sustained demand to carry AVAX beyond resistance. Buyers could become trapped again if price briefly rises toward the upper boundary before returning to $5.80.
The AVAX Chart Shows What Buyers Need Before a Larger Rally
Profit Conscious expects AVAX to produce a powerful bullish rally. A look at the chart shared by the analyst shows Avalanche price trading inside a broad descending structure that began after the previous market peak.

The upper trendline has rejected several recovery attempts. The lower trendline has guided AVAX toward its current support region. Price has now reached the narrow end of that structure, where the distance between both boundaries has become much smaller.
Avalanche has also traded inside a tighter horizontal range since June 2026. The lower boundary stands near $5.80, and the upper boundary appears close to $7. Each move toward the upper region has lost strength before AVAX returned toward support.

A confirmed break above $7 would represent the first useful step. AVAX could then test $8.50, which remains the more important confirmation level. Success above $8.50 could carry Avalanche price toward $10.
Further strength beyond $10 would improve the wider structure and create room for a move toward $14 or $15. Those targets depend on AVAX breaking multiple resistance levels, so the path would probably require more than one quick rally.

A failed breakout would create a different outcome. AVAX could return to $5.80 and test whether buyers remain prepared to defend the range. A confirmed loss of that level would weaken the historical base and cancel the immediate bullish setup.
Avalanche price now has stronger RWA data, active cross chain routes, and a support level with several years of history behind it. The same chart also shows why caution remains necessary. AVAX has recovered from this region before, but the next test will reveal whether buyers can finally turn another bounce into a genuine breakout.
