XRP Price Is at Its Most Oversold Levels Ever!

Ripple’s XRP price has dropped more than 2.5% over the past 24 hours, pushing the token down to around $1.06 as heavy selling pressure swept across the crypto market. Even with the sell-off, trader activity has accelerated, with daily trading volume climbing more than 45%, pointing to strong participation from both buyers and sellers.

Also, the XRP Ledger continues to process healthy network activity. Data shows 6.48 million XRP moved across token markets through 84,784 trades during the latest 24-hour period.

The combination of rising on-chain activity and a deeply oversold price has many investors asking the same question: has the XRP price finally reached its bottom?

XRP price reaches its most oversold monthly level on record

Top analyst Ash Crypto put up a chart that shows XRP in some of its weakest shape ever. The price has dropped about 72% from its peak and touched $1, something we haven’t seen in nearly two years.

Here’s the kicker: the monthly RSI is now below where it was during the COVID crash in March 2020. RSI is just a tool that tells you if something’s been bought up too much or sold down too hard. Below 50 is weak. XRP is at 43. That’s one of the lowest readings since the coin first started trading.

If you look back, XRP has bottomed out before at similar moments, $0.10 in 2020, $0.28 in 2022, and now around $1. Each time came after long downturns, and each time a big bounce followed.

Does that mean it’ll happen again? No. RSI measures momentum, not the future. But traders keep an eye on extremes like this because it can be a sign that sellers are finally running out of steam.

XRP Ledger growth keeps improving despite crypto regulation delay

Even as XRP price remains under pressure, activity across the XRP Ledger continues to expand.

Data from XRPL shows token markets processed 6.48 million XRP in trading volume across 84,784 transactions during the past day. Automated Market Maker (AMM) liquidity has climbed to 61.24 million XRP spread across more than 22,000 liquidity pools, showing deeper liquidity across decentralised trading.

Stablecoin adoption on XRPL also continues to grow. The network now hosts approximately $999.13 million in stablecoin value, with RLUSD accounting for $894.67 million, or nearly 90% of the total supply. That market has grown 1.92% over the past week and 16.69% over the last 30 days, pointing to rising usage beyond simple token transfers.

Wallet data also paints an interesting picture. Addresses holding between 100,000 and 100 million XRP have increased their balances by about 2.8% over the past five weeks, even as exchange inflows have dropped to multi-month lows. Lower exchange deposits can reduce immediate selling pressure because fewer tokens are being moved onto trading platforms.

Outside of what’s happening on the network, regulation is still a big deal. The US Senate put off voting on the Clarity Act. Lawmakers are busy with nominations and other bills before they break in August.

So the bill probably won’t come back up until September. That means a longer wait for clearer rules, something a lot of people think would help crypto, XRP included.

Internationally, Japan continues to move in the opposite direction. New legislation advancing through Japan’s parliament aims to classify cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and XRP as financial instruments, opening the door for crypto ETFs and proposing a lower flat tax rate on digital asset gains.

XRP price outlook

XRP price remains under pressure after its decline, but the data presents a more balanced picture than price action alone. The token is trading at its most oversold monthly RSI reading on record, trading activity has increased, liquidity across the XRP Ledger continues to expand, and large holders have been adding to their positions.

Even though technical indicators never guarantee a reversal, these metrics show the XRP ecosystem continues to grow despite short-term market weakness and ongoing regulatory uncertainty.
