Here’s Why Shiba Inu (SHIB) Price Pumped 33%

Shiba Inu shot up 33% in a single day, hitting $0.000005598. Trading volume exploded more than 870%, people are piling in fast. That leap pushed SHIB past Sui, Avalanche, and Hedera, landing it at number 25 in market rank.

This isn’t empty hype. The team keeps burning coins, whales started buying again after months of doing nothing, and SHIB is finding actual use in DeFi. So now the big question is does this the SHIB price keep climbing, or do sellers show up and knock it back down?

Why Is the SHIB Price Pumping Today?

The main thing driving SHIB right now is that they’re burning tokens. Over the last day, more than 226 million got taken out of circulation, that’s a 92% jump in the burn rate. Less supply means each remaining token is worth more, if people keep wanting to buy.

Big players are getting back in too. One whale who hadn’t touched SHIB in over seven months just bought, again, over 30 billion coins from Binance, worth about $125,000. And there’s word of another wallet piling up more than 50 billion SHIB. Seems like the people with deep pockets are piling in as prices move up.

The ecosystem is adding another catalyst. Memecoin lending platform Purinta has introduced SHIB as collateral through infrastructure built on Morpho, allowing users to borrow USDC against their SHIB holdings. That gives the token another real-world DeFi use case beyond trading and staking, supporting demand from active users.

What Is the SHIB Chart Showing?

We pulled up the chart, and this is the best breakout we’ve seen from this coin in weeks.

For most of July, it just bobbed up and down between $0.00000410 and $0.00000430. Then buyers finally shoved it past that ceiling and ran it all the way up over $0.00000560.

The numbers back it up too.vThe RSI hit 84, that is hot. The Ultimate Oscillator is at 79.27, which means buyers are in control on every time frame you look at.

But here is the catch: whenever that RSI number gets over 80, the price usually stalls out for a bit, or takes a breather, before it tries to go higher.

For the bulls, the real test is holding that new ground. They cannot afford to lose it and fall all the way back down.

Where Could the SHIB Price Go Next?

If people keep buying and the burns stay over 200 million SHIB a day, the first real stop is $0.00000600. That number tends to pull in short-term traders looking for a quick move.

Push past that cleanly, and you could be looking at $0.00000640 to $0.00000660, especially if big wallets keep stacking and more DeFi projects start using SHIB.

But here’s the other side. After a 33% jump like that, things can cool off fast. The first floor to keep an eye on is $0.00000520. Below that, the old breakout zone around $0.00000480 to $0.00000490 is the next safety net.

As long as the Shiba Inu price stays above those levels, the bigger uptrend stays intact, even if we get a pullback that shakes out some weak hands.

However, the SHIB price is climbing because the burns have picked up speed. Big holders started buying again. Trading volume went through the roof. And more DeFi projects are actually using SHIB now, which brings in more buyers.

If the bulls can hold that breakout level, this run could keep going over the next few days.

But fair warning, those overbought numbers mean we are probably in for some wild swings either way.
