If you ever try speaking about Verge token drawbacks in their community, first thing you will experience is a wave of insults and then probably a ban from that community. One of the first things Vergins (self-given name for the supporters of Verge) will throw at you is partnerships their beloved coin made with big companies like Trafficjunky (owner of Pornhub). That is the ultimate proof of legitimacy of their token.
However, as most of objective crypto investor know, XVG raised funds from their community to pay Pornhub to add them as a payment method on their site.
We will not achieve the partnership if we don't have the funding for integration

As things stand now, though, Pornhub doesn’t care too much about XVG in particular. They took the money for the partnership that guarantees no exclusivity for XVG use. New sheriff is in town, called adult crypto industry, and his name is Vice Industry Token (VIT).
VIT functions as two things; a video entertainment platform where viewers can watch videos, and as a cryptocurrency where anybody who participates (in viewing, adding, or curating content) will get paid with VIT’s proprietary cryptocurrency.

Vice Industry Token had a very successful ICO with 26,927 ETH collected. The team behind VIT plans to dominate the adult industry.
And they hit the ground running, Playboy and Penthouse have already announced that they will use VIT to accept payments on their wbeistes, giving the new coin a ton of credibility right away.
Another, currently super famous female porn star, Stormy Daniels also accepts this new token on her website, so it looks like XVG plan just got a lot tougher to implement.
“Users will get paid in VIT to watch videos on StormyDaniels.com,” the companies announced in a joint release. “The tokens they earn can be used to watch premium content on her site or on other sites in the network.”
So after two major exploits in their blockchain protocol, XVG just got some more bad news – stiff (no pun intended) competition in “their” niche.
