What are Runes?
Runes is a new protocol created by Rodarmor, the creator of Ordinals. It aims to address the issue of non-interchangeability (BRC-20) of tokens on Bitcoin by introducing high interchangeability capabilities. The mainnet of the Rune Protocol is expected to launch right after the Bitcoin Halving in April.
