Toncoin, the native cryptocurrency of the Telegram Open Network (TON), has announced a $700,000 airdrop for gaming tokens and NFT traders through their official X account. This airdrop aims to incentivize and reward active participants in the TON ecosystem’s gaming and NFT communities.
The snapshot captured all wallets that traded whitelisted gaming tokens and NFTs on Dedust.io or Ston.fi, as well as NFTs between April 1, 12:00 UTC & May 7, 00:00 UTC. Non-wallet addresses and Sybil wallet addresses were disqualified, leaving a total of 1,757 eligible wallets.
The whitelisted assets included tokens and NFTs from the MiniApps & Games participating in the App Battle of The Open League, such as Ton Punks, Tap Fantasy, Arbuz, Tongochi, Gatto, Fanton, XPLUS, and The Pixels.

The rewards were allocated to the 1,757 eligible wallets based on a scoring system. Wallets with scores between 1-5 received 50 TON, scores 6-7 received 70 TON, and scores above 7 received 100 TON. The full eligibility criteria will be published on the TON Research forum, and the airdrop was distributed to all eligible wallets on May 9th using the mass sender by TonRaffles.
Seemingly in response to this positive development, the TON price reacted positively with a 13% pump today, trading around $6.5 at the time of writing. Furthermore, TON’s price has surged by an impressive 25% over the past seven days, making it the top gainer among the top 30 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization during this period.
