Fartcoin is having a rough time – and it’s not just retail holders who are taking profits.
In the past few days, two major whales have dumped millions worth of $FARTCOIN, locking in profits while the price has dipped hard. The latest move? A whale sold 3 million FARTCOIN for $3.65 million USDC at a price of $1.29. Interestingly, this same whale is still holding 1.89 million tokens, currently valued around $2.19 million.
After 3 days of silence, this newly created wallet received 12,749 $ETH, worth $49.25M, from #FalconX.

Now, the wallet holds 80,174 $ETH, valued at $302.72M.

This follows an earlier move spotted by Onchain Lens, where another whale withdrew 1.96 million FARTCOIN from Kraken and immediately sold it for $2.72 million USDC. That sell happened at a slightly higher average price of $1.39.
And now, the result is obvious:
Fartcoin is down 15% in the last 24 hours, currently trading near $1.18 – well below its local high of $1.67 earlier this month.
Are We Looking at a Local Top?
It’s too early to say for sure, but this flurry of whale exits is raising eyebrows. When large holders begin offloading at these levels – especially in coordinated chunks – it often signals short-term exhaustion or at least the need for consolidation.
Retail traders seem to be following suit, and momentum is definitely cooling down.

What’s Next for Fartcoin?
While short-term price action looks weak, not everyone is giving up. CaptainAltcoin’s founder, a long-time believer in Solana meme coins, still sees Fartcoin as a top conviction play for this bull run. But even he admits the recent dip has been painful and “not playing out so well” for now.
There’s still strong long-term interest in Fartcoin’s unique branding and ecosystem, but traders might want to tread carefully in the coming days.
