Market definitely has the momentum right now since Bitcoin is smashing through new all-time highs. However, altcoins are not doing that well. One of the altcoins worth mentioning though is TAO, since the price pumped 11% today, bringing the price to above $470 at press time.
TAO, the native token of the Bittensor network, is starting to break away from the rest of the altcoin pack. The move comes after weeks of slow but steady recovery, following a deep correction that bottomed out in the $160–$200 range. Now, after breaking out of a long descending wedge, TAO looks like it’s ready to climb higher.
TAO Chart Analysis
The chart shows a classic bullish breakout. For months, the price was stuck inside a falling wedge pattern, gradually making lower highs and lower lows. The chart even shows a projected zig-zag path – a sign that brief consolidations may occur along the way, but the broader trend is still upward. Traders are watching the $500 mark closely now. If bulls manage to flip it, it could trigger the next wave of momentum, possibly sending TAO toward its previous highs above $750.
