Shiba Inu’s layer-2 solution Shibarium is undergoing maintenance on its RPC nodes, according to a recent announcement from lead developer Kaal Dhairya. Users and developers have been advised to utilize an alternative RPC node provided by NowNodes in the meantime. Despite the maintenance, Shibarium’s main network remains fully operational.
NowNodes recently detailed its support for the Shibarium ecosystem, noting its Shibarium RPC Full Node enables developers and enterprises to build on the platform without constraints. The firm aims to foster collaborations and has already begun assisting with Shibarium integrations.
The update comes as Shiba Inu saw a price revival this week amid renewed buying interest. The meme coin gained over 8% in the last 24 hours to reach $0.000008208.
Trading volume has also spiked 75% to over $341 million, depicting strong interest from both retail and institutional investors. This metric will be important to watch to gauge the likelihood of further upside for SHIB in the near-term.
According to technical analysis by altFINS, the recent bullish breakout from a falling wedge pattern could propel prices up to resistance around $0.0000080, which aligns with the 200-day moving average. Trends are mixed but improving in the short-term. A decisive break above the 200-day average is needed to confirm a trend reversal to a full-fledged uptrend.
