Ripple News: New partner (that might use xRapid and XRP) and new executive poached from Google

The list of well-known partners in the Ripple network now consists of more than 120 members and is growing steadily. This week a Tech-Startup from the Czech Republic has joined the Ripple Network to offer its customers fast and cheap cross-border transactions.

Amore Finance, a start-up based in Prague, offers complete banking solutions for companies of all sizes. Amore Finance has joined RippleNet in order to continue to grow and offer its infrastructure for cross-border payments at low cost. In cooperation with Cleverland, which will be in charge of the implementation of Ripple’s Blockchain technology, the implementation in practice is to be carried out quickly.

Amore Finance is the first Czech company to join RippleNet to benefit from the advantages of lower costs, faster transfer times and a very narrow and secure infrastructure. Ondrej Spodniak, founder of Amore Finance, is proud of the cooperation and says that this step will help his company (freely translated):

Only those banks and service providers that use a client that is transparent, fast and reliable will survive. RippleNet is clearly the future and I am proud that we are the first company from the Czech Republic!

Which software solution from Ripple (xRapid with XRP or xCurrent) will they actually use will be announced in the next few days. Amore Fintech joins a long list of prominent partners such as MUFG, the fifth largest bank in Japan, Santander, Bank of America, Money Gram or Western Union.

Amir Sarhangi switches from Google to Ripple

Ripple has managed to convince a leading product manager at Google, Amir Sarhangi, to leave the tech giant and immerse himself in the blockchain world. Amir Sarhangi was responsible for Google’s launch of the RCS wireless messaging system. At Ripple, he takes on a new challenge as deputy head of the product department.

Sarhangi joined the company through an acquisition by Google of his start-up Jibe mobile in 2015. RCS is seen as the successor to the SMS service as it makes it easy and efficient for operators to send multimedia and commercial messages such as normal text messages or receipts and boarding passes. Sarhangi will support Ripple in its expansion and adoption worldwide.
