A Kaspa analyst on X thinks KAS will eventually overtake big blockchain rivals like Solana and Ethereum. This bold prediction comes from several new tech developments and strengths in the Kaspa network.
KaspaFox, a Kaspa community member, believes big changes are coming for the KAS token and its blockchain. “We’re entering a new era,” the analyst said, pointing to key improvements that could push Kaspa forward.

What you'll learn 👉
Smart Contracts Coming to Kaspa
Until now, Kaspa has mainly been a fast payment blockchain. Adding smart contracts will change everything. This upgrade will allow all kinds of decentralized apps, including finance platforms, exchanges, lending systems, staking, and blockchain games.
Kaspa has already shown what it can do with token standards. People are creating and trading KRC-20 tokens on the network. Artists are making NFTs using the KRC-721 standard with low costs and fast transactions. Miners benefit from the fees, creating a system that works for everyone.
Faster Network Speed on the Way (Could Overtake ETH and SOL)
Kaspa plans to increase to 10 blocks per second soon. This upgrade will make the network more efficient and able to handle more transactions. Users will experience less waiting time and better performance.
The analyst says Ethereum is “too slow” and Solana is “too centralized.” Kaspa, they claim, finds “the perfect balance” between speed, security, and decentralization.

Favorable Rules for Proof-of-Work
Kaspa might also benefit from clearer regulations for Proof-of-Work systems in the United States. While many blockchain projects face uncertain rules, Proof-of-Work systems are gaining acceptance. Bitcoin is already recognized as “digital gold” in many regulatory frameworks.
KaspaFox suggests this could make Kaspa a “scalable, smart alternative” with regulatory clarity and more features than Bitcoin offers.
These improvements could bring more developers, users, and projects to Kaspa. According to the analyst, these advantages might eventually help Kaspa outperform its bigger competitors in the blockchain world.
