Is a $1 Hedera (HBAR) Price Realistic? History Says “Not Yet”

Crypto analyst Crypto Patel shared a long term Hedera chart alongside claims that growing ETF exposure could eventually force stronger open market demand for HBAR.

HBAR price trades close to $0.09 at the time of the analysis. That level still leaves Hedera far below its previous all time high near $0.57 from the 2021 cycle. Crypto Patel believes the current setup could eventually open the path toward $1. However, based on the current price structure and historical resistance levels, it seems ambitious this cycle.

Crypto Patel based his Hedera outlook on several factors connected to ETF accumulation and supply dynamics. His analysis pointed to cumulative inflows above $99 million and claims that Canary-related exposure already controls around 1.45% of HBAR supply.

The analyst also mentioned that several more HBAR ETF applications remain pending with the SEC. That part matters because ETF products usually create steady spot market demand once capital enters the fund structure.

Bitcoin offers one recent example that supports this type of argument. BTC reached fresh all time highs above $126,000 after months of consistent ETF inflows from institutions and asset managers. Spot Bitcoin ETFs created constant buying pressure across the market. That demand became one important factor behind Bitcoin’s historic breakout.

Crypto Patel believes something similar could happen with Hedera over time if institutional exposure keeps growing. His chart placed the main HBAR accumulation zone between $0.073 and $0.043. The projected long term target remained close to $1.

That projection still comes with important limitations.

Hedera Price Has Never Reached $1 Before

HBAR price has never traded anywhere close to $1 in its history. Hedera reached its previous cycle peak around $0.57 during the 2021 bull market. Price later collapsed alongside the broader crypto market and spent years trading below key resistance zones.

That historical context matters because markets usually need strong confirmation before doubling beyond previous all time highs. Hedera still remains far below its former peak even after recent recovery attempts.

A look at the chart shared by Crypto Patel shows why some caution still exists around the $1 prediction. The chart displays multiple sharp rallies followed by deep retracements. Previous bullish cycles also struggled once bearish divergence appeared near major resistance levels.

Recent price action still places HBAR below a descending resistance trendline. That trendline continues to cap bullish continuation attempts for now.

HBAR Price Still Needs To Reclaim Its Previous All-Time High

Another factor deserves attention before investors begin talking confidently about a $1 Hedera price.

HBAR first needs to prove it can reclaim its previous all-time high near $0.57. Markets usually move through several stages before entering price discovery territory again. Strong support zones must hold. Major resistance levels must break. Volume also needs to expand consistently during the move upward.

Crypto Patel’s chart projects a possible rebound from the current support region toward the $1 area over time. The same chart also shows that such a move would require a rally above 1,600% from current levels.

That type of expansion usually depends on several conditions aligning together. ETF demand would likely need to accelerate further. Broader crypto market conditions would also need to remain supportive. Bitcoin’s strength could become another important factor if capital rotates back into large-cap altcoins later in the cycle.

HBAR price currently remains inside a phase where confirmation still matters more than speculation. If the bullish metrics continue to align, $1 could come in some years from now.

ETF-related narratives continue to attract attention across the crypto sector because institutional participation has changed the market structure over the past year. Bitcoin already demonstrated how sustained inflows can support higher valuations across long periods.

Hedera now enters a stage where ETF developments may slowly influence long-term sentiment around HBAR price. Crypto Patel clearly sees those developments as an early sign of stronger institutional accumulation.
