WLD broke out hard in early September, spiking to $2.25. After the blow-off move it pulled back and is now hovering near $1.55–$1.60. That zone sits just above the old mid-range from August (~$1.30–$1.40), so bulls still hold structure. Immediate resistance sits at $1.80–$2.00. If price loses $1.50, the next support sits near $1.30–$1.35 and then $1.05–$1.10.
RSI on this 4H view cooled from overbought during the run-up and now sits around the mid-40s to low-50s. Momentum has reset without a full breakdown. That favors sideways to slow grind until buyers step back in with volume.
Net long positioning has faded since the top. The panel shows a downtrend in longs through the pullback. That means fewer aggressive dip buyers at the moment and leaves room for fresh long interest if price reclaims $1.80.
Net shorts have built steadily into the retrace. Shorts are comfortable leaning on the $1.80–$2.00 cap. If the WLD price pushes back through that area, those positions can fuel a quick squeeze toward the round $2.00–$2.10 pocket.
Open interest remains higher than pre-pump levels, even after some flushes. That tells us positions are still stacked, so moves can be sharp in both directions. A clean OI build on green candles is what bulls want to see; rising OI on red candles would warn of trend pressure lower.
Near-term read
- Hold $1.50–$1.55 → chop and base, with shots back to $1.80–$2.00.
- Lose $1.50 → deeper test toward $1.35, possibly $1.10 if risk appetite drops.
- Break and close above $1.80–$2.00 with rising OI → $2.10–$2.25 retest becomes likely.
WLD price prediction for Q4 2025
I’m keeping this realistic and tied to structure and typical cycle behavior:
- Base case: $1.80–$2.40 by Q4 2025
(market steady, WLD holds current range, liquidity improves, no major shocks) - Bull case: $3.00–$3.50
(risk-on tape, strong exchange flows, product traction, weekly closes above $2.00 hold) - Bear case: $0.90–$1.20
(risk-off, broad alt weakness, repeated rejections at $1.80–$2.00)
My central mark is ~$2.20 for Q4 2025, with path dependence around the $1.50 support and $1.80–$2.00 ceiling. Flip the ceiling into support and the bull case opens up; lose $1.50 and we’re back to range-low hunting first.
