Stellar is entering August with a much more interesting setup than many traders expected a few weeks ago. XLM is currently trading at the level of $0.173, and this level turned out to be one of the key levels on the chart.
However, the key issue is whether growing network activity will manage to influence the XLM price in any significant way. In the last few weeks, the topic about Stellar has changed from speculative issues to payments and tokenized assets.

Why Institutions Keep Showing Up in the Stellar Conversation
The strongest long-term catalyst is coming from traditional finance. Stellar’s blockchain will be used by the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), custodian of over $114 trillion worth of financial assets, to tokenize securities on its platform.
Live assets are set to be tokenized on the network during the first half of 2027. This is significant because it puts Stellar at the center of a regulated tokenization project rather than a cryptocurrency one.
Real-world asset activity on Stellar has also expanded quickly. Industry data points to a 317% monthly increase in RWA transfer volume, and the value of tokenized assets on the network has climbed above $2 billion. Franklin Templeton is among the institutions already active in the ecosystem.

Now very much a major player in the stablecoin sector, @StellarOrg's stablecoin supply is up nearly +10% over the past week at time of writing.

Stablecoin activity is another piece of the story. According to BSCN news, the supply of stablecoins on the Stellar blockchain network grew by 9.14% in just one week to become worth more than $967 million. This means that the Stellar blockchain is now roughly ranked at about 13th largest based on its stablecoin market capitalization.
Stellar’s Infrastructure Story Is Getting Harder to Ignore
The Stellar Development Foundation has been focusing on payments, tokenization, and developer tools, with Soroban being one of its key priorities in this respect. Soroban is the name of the smart-contracts platform used in Stellar, which aims to enhance DeFi and RWA capabilities on the blockchain.

Protocol 23 will provide about 5,000 transactions per second, while a quantum readiness migration will be achieved by 2027. These developments will help ensure increased scalability and security, which are vital aspects for regulatory-compliant finance applications.
🤑 Just $187 can put you ahead of 90% of $XLM wallets.

New wallet distribution data shows how accessible Stellar’s ecosystem remains.
Holding around 1,075 $XLM is currently enough to enter the top 10% of $XLM holders.
The thresholds are surprisingly low:

One aspect that is quite remarkable is the accessibility of this network. According to the wallet distribution statistics by Scopuly, having around 1,075 XLM allows one to become part of the top 10% of XLM wallets, while possessing approximately 3,751 XLM is sufficient for belonging to the top 5%.
The XLM Chart Still Needs Confirmation
I analyzed the XLM chart and found that although the technical outlook is getting better, it still hasn’t become completely bullish just yet. The Stellar price is trading around 65% below its top in late-2025 at $0.50. The encouraging part is momentum.

The daily RSI is around 40, and it has been making higher lows even as the price made lower lows. Traders often watch that type of bullish divergence because it can appear when selling pressure starts to weaken.
The first resistance level is the 100-day moving average near $0.183. Above that, the next important zones are $0.20 and then $0.25. On the downside, support sits near $0.17, followed by $0.15.

XLM Price Outlook for August
For August, I believe that a reasonable range should be within the $0.17-$0.20 level. Breaking above $0.183 would be the first clear indication that the rally is gaining strength, which may give a chance to push up towards $0.20.
The bearish case becomes stronger if the XLM price loses $0.17, because that would put $0.15 back in focus. The main thing I’ll be watching in August is whether Stellar’s improving adoption metrics start translating into stronger price action. The network data is getting better; the chart still needs proof from buyers.
