Chainlink Price Prediction: LINK Risks a 30% Crash as Key Support Weakens

Chainlink’s latest pullback has produced competing chart patterns, and the next decisive move could determine which carries more weight. Crypto With Gopal sees a possible recovery setup, but Ali Charts warns that a deeper correction could follow if support gives way.

Both Chainlink price predictions depend on what LINK does around a closely watched support area. Buyers still have a chance to regain control, although the chart needs stronger evidence before a recovery becomes convincing.

Chainlink Price Forms A Falling Wedge Near $12.26

Crypto With Gopal identifies a falling wedge as Chainlink consolidates near $12.26. A look at the LINK chart shows price moving between descending trendlines after retreating from its late September peak near $16.

The upper boundary tracks progressively lower highs. The lower boundary slopes downward more gradually, so the gap between them has narrowed. This pattern can precede a bullish reversal, but its presence alone does not confirm that buyers have overcome selling pressure.

The chart also provides a useful historical comparison. An earlier, smaller falling wedge developed around late August and early September. LINK subsequently broke above that formation and advanced beyond its marked target.

That earlier breakout gives context to Gopal’s bullish interpretation. However, the current wedge follows a larger decline, and a similar outcome still requires price to escape the descending resistance.

Gopal places the key breakout zone between $13 and $13.50. A sustained move through that range would provide stronger evidence that the recent sequence of lower highs is ending. His projected recovery target stands near $16, close to the previous peak visible on the chart.

That would represent roughly 31% upside from $12.26. The target remains conditional on a confirmed breakout.

LINK Price Support Between $11.80 And $12 Remains Critical

The bullish Chainlink price prediction depends first on buyers protecting support between $11.80 and $12. This area matters because another decline through it would weaken the case that LINK is stabilizing inside the wedge.

Repeated tests of support deserve close attention, although they do not automatically prove that buyers are losing control. The more useful evidence would come from how price behaves after each test and whether rebounds can clear nearby resistance.

The key levels in Gopal’s analysis are:

  • $11.80 to $12 provides the main support zone. A sustained loss would weaken the recovery setup.
  • $13 to $13.50 marks the breakout confirmation range. Buyers need to reclaim this area and hold above it.
  • $16 remains the conditional recovery target. This level becomes more relevant after resistance breaks.

A brief move above the wedge would offer less confirmation than a sustained breakout. A successful retest of former resistance as support would make the recovery case more convincing.

Ali Charts Warns A $12 Breakdown Could Deepen Chainlink’s Correction

Ali Charts presents a bearish interpretation through a potential head and shoulders pattern on the 4 hour timeframe. His analysis makes $12 the key threshold for confirmation.

A head and shoulders pattern describes a central peak between 2 lower peaks. The support beneath those peaks forms the neckline, and a sustained breakdown below it can confirm the bearish structure.

Ali’s warning therefore depends on LINK closing and remaining below $12. A temporary dip followed by a quick recovery would provide weaker evidence of a confirmed breakdown.

His first downside level is $10. Chainlink could consolidate there before another decline toward the projected main target of $8.50.

The percentage distinction matters here. A decline from $12 to $10 would equal roughly 17%, whereas a fall from $12 to $8.50 would reach approximately 29%. The roughly 30% correction refers to the deeper target.

The attached chart illustrates Gopal’s wedge analysis. Ali’s head and shoulders interpretation comes from his separate commentary.

These forecasts describe competing outcomes around the same support area. Gopal’s recovery scenario requires LINK to defend its lower range and reclaim $13 to $13.50. Ali’s bearish scenario requires a sustained loss of $12.

Chainlink could also remain between support and resistance without confirming either forecast. Continued consolidation would leave both projected targets unconfirmed.
