The crypto market has turned green again, but this is not simply another Bitcoin-led rally.
Bitcoin and Ethereum are up roughly 1.5%–2.5% today, while several altcoins are producing much larger moves. SUI and NEAR have surged around 20%, ONDO has jumped more than 30% at points, and Quant’s QNT has been among the day’s strongest performers. Solana has also pushed above $120 for the first time since January 29, putting SOL more than 100% above its 2026 low.
The broader crypto market cap is also higher, while trading activity has increased considerably.
So, what is driving the rally?

Bitcoin ETF Demand Remains Strong
One supportive factor is continued institutional demand for Bitcoin.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded approximately $190.7 million in net inflows on September 24. BlackRock’s IBIT dominated the session with roughly $162.6 million, while Fidelity, Bitwise, Morgan Stanley and Franklin Templeton also recorded inflows.
More importantly, this followed much larger inflows earlier in the week. The funds attracted roughly $999 million on September 21, $714.7 million on September 22 and $346.9 million on September 23.
That provides a steady source of spot demand even as Bitcoin’s own daily move remains relatively modest.
Altcoins Are Stealing the Show
The more interesting story today is happening below Bitcoin.
Real-world asset and tokenization projects have become one of the market’s strongest pockets. QNT surged more than 30% after Quant was selected by The Clearing House to power technology for its On-Chain Money Initiative, which is designed to support clearing and settlement of tokenized bank deposits.
ONDO has also exploded after Ondo Finance launched three onchain portfolio products based on model portfolio strategies developed by BlackRock. The products give eligible non-U.S. investors exposure to tokenized investment portfolios.
That combination has put the tokenization narrative firmly back in focus. Recent market data show QNT and ONDO among today’s biggest gainers.
SUI and NEAR are also seeing substantial gains, while Solana’s move above $120 adds another sign that capital is moving further out along the crypto risk curve.

Is the Crypto Rally Sustainable?
Today’s price action looks more like selective altcoin rotation than a market-wide Bitcoin surge.
That distinction matters. Bitcoin remains the anchor of the market, but traders are clearly showing greater willingness to move into higher-risk assets, particularly tokens with fresh catalysts and strong narratives.
The Bitcoin ETF inflows provide a constructive backdrop, while QNT and ONDO have project-specific developments supporting their rallies. The explosive moves elsewhere show that speculative appetite has returned as well.
The next test is if Bitcoin can remain stable while altcoins continue advancing. If BTC holds its recent gains, capital could continue rotating into assets such as SUI, NEAR, SOL and tokenization-related cryptocurrencies.
But after 20%–30% daily moves in several tokens, short-term profit-taking would hardly be surprising. For now, though, September 25 is shaping up as an altcoin-heavy day, with institutional flows and the rapidly growing tokenization narrative providing two of the clearest catalysts.
