The Manny Pacquiao Foundation, founded by the eight-division World Boxing Champion and former Philippine Senator, will begin utilizing Shiba Inu’s layer 2 blockchain Shibarium for fundraising and operations starting this week.
Shibarium developers confirmed to CoinDesk that the partnership will allow the nonprofit to scale up its charitable work globally. “The Pacquiao Foundation is dedicated to fighting for those in need around the world and has already done so for more than a million people requiring urgent assistance,” said Jon Sisson, Executive Director.
