Bitcoin and Ethereum enter November 3 in a fragile recovery after last week’s Binance hack sent another wave of selling through the crypto market.
Bitcoin is trading around $77,700-$78,000, while Ethereum is holding near $2,280. ETH has performed slightly better over the past 24 hours, but neither asset has yet recovered the levels lost during the October selloff.
The question today is whether buyers can turn the stabilization into a stronger recovery or if another round of selling sends BTC and ETH back toward last week’s lows.

Binance Hack Is Still Hanging Over Bitcoin and Ethereum
Binance customers have continued withdrawing funds after the exchange restored withdrawals following the $6.3 billion hack.
Reuters reported net customer withdrawals of approximately $4.72 billion after services resumed. Binance said the withdrawals represented around 3% of platform assets and that outflows had begun to stabilize. The exchange has also raised approximately $6 billion to cover the stolen assets.
That has helped reduce fears of a deeper liquidity crisis.
Still, institutional investors have reacted cautiously.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $643.3 million in net outflows on October 30, the first trading session after the hack and their largest daily withdrawal since June. BlackRock’s IBIT alone lost $233.7 million.
Bitcoin therefore needs fresh buying rather than simply an absence of additional bad news.
November 3 also brings the U.S. midterm elections, giving traders another potential source of volatility. Friday’s U.S. employment report will follow later in the week and could influence expectations for the Federal Reserve’s next move.
Bitcoin Price Prediction for November 3
Bitcoin has repeatedly found buyers around $76,000-$77,000, making this the most important downside area for today.

On the other side, BTC has struggled to reclaim $79,000-$80,000. A stronger resistance cluster appears between approximately $80,300 and $80,900.
Our November 3 scenarios are:
| Bitcoin scenario | Probability | Expected range | What would drive it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bearish | 25% | $74,500-$76,500 | $76K support breaks, ETF/outflow concerns continue |
| Base case | 50% | $76,500-$80,000 | BTC consolidates as Binance fears cool |
| Bullish | 25% | $80,000-$82,000 | $79K-$80K resistance breaks with stronger risk appetite |
The base case is therefore another volatile session around $77,000-$80,000.
A move above $80,000 would be the first meaningful improvement. Breaking roughly $80,700 could expose $82,000 next.
The downside is clearer. Losing the October low around $76,000 would put approximately $74,500-$75,000 into play.
Our most likely November 3 closing area is roughly $78,000-$79,500.
Ethereum Price Prediction for November 3
Ethereum is showing slightly better short-term momentum than Bitcoin and is trading around $2,280.
However, ETH has its own institutional-flow problem. Ether investment products have recently experienced persistent withdrawals, leaving the current recovery without particularly strong institutional support.

Technically, $2,300-$2,330 is the first area bulls need to reclaim.
A clean break above $2,330 could open the path toward $2,390-$2,400. Above that, approximately $2,470 becomes the next notable target.
Support is concentrated around $2,200, followed by approximately $2,100.
| Ethereum scenario | Probability | Expected range | What would drive it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bearish | 25% | $2,100-$2,220 | Crypto risk-off move and loss of $2,200 |
| Base case | 50% | $2,220-$2,350 | Consolidation with a modest recovery attempt |
| Bullish | 25% | $2,350-$2,470 | ETH clears $2,330 and momentum accelerates |
Our base case puts ETH between approximately $2,220 and $2,350 for most of the session, with $2,300-$2,330 acting as the immediate battleground.
A daily move above $2,400 would significantly improve the short-term structure.
Our most likely November 3 closing area is approximately $2,290-$2,350.
BTC and ETH Levels to Watch Today
The setup for November 3 is therefore relatively simple.
Bitcoin needs to reclaim $80,000, while Ethereum needs to push through $2,330.
Below the market, $76,000 for BTC and $2,200 for ETH are the levels buyers cannot afford to lose.
The Binance situation appears more contained than it did immediately after the breach, but ETF withdrawals show that confidence has not completely returned.
That leaves Bitcoin and Ethereum in recovery mode rather than a confirmed new bullish trend, with today’s U.S. election adding another reason to expect volatility.
