Starknet Becomes Zcash’s Privacy Layer as STRK Stays Dirt Cheap

Starknet (STRK) has had a busy week, and the market is finally starting to pay attention. The STRK price is still trading at surprisingly low levels, even though the network keeps landing major updates across privacy tech, ZK computing, and Bitcoin-linked staking.

The price has been volatile, but the story around Starknet is getting louder as more pieces start falling into place.

One of the biggest moves came from Brevis, which rolled out ProverNet, a decentralized marketplace for zero-knowledge proof generation. It has already processed hundreds of millions of proofs and connects with platforms like PancakeSwap and Linea.

For Starknet, this adds more power to the ecosystem and gives developers cheaper and more scalable tools, which can matter a lot when the market eventually warms up again.

Moreover, traders have also been active. A whale opened a huge long position around $0.14 and walked away with millions in profit when STRK spiked toward $0.2181.

The Starknet price has cooled off since then, but it showed how quickly STRK can move when liquidity thins out. With a large portion of the supply staked, every rally becomes sharper, every dip becomes heavier, and every catalyst affects price more than usual.

And the momentum from BTCFi is still in play. Starknet’s program for staking tokenized Bitcoin for STRK rewards has already attracted more than $72 million in BTC.

That helped triple the network’s TVL and even brought in institutional capital looking for yield. The pullback that followed was expected after such a fast run, but it confirmed that the demand is real whenever Starknet gets attention.

How Starknet Became Zcash’s Privacy Engine

The most eye-catching development came from the privacy side of crypto. Starknet recently verified a Stark proof inside the Zcash testnet, something analysts quickly noticed because of who is involved.

Zooko and Eli Ben-Sasson, both co-founders of Zcash, are now working together on what they’re calling Ztarknet. That basically positions Starknet as Zcash’s programmable privacy layer.

This gives Starknet the privacy power Zcash is known for, but with smart-contract flexibility and without the regulatory issues privacy coins usually face. It makes Starknet part of a much bigger narrative, especially as privacy starts coming back into focus across the market. Zcash ran more than 1,000% the last time privacy narratives took off, which is why people keep pointing out that STRK still sitting around $0.14 to $0.20 feels unusually cheap.

Where STRK Price Could Go Next

The Starknet price is still trying to build a bottom, and the recent wick above $0.21 showed that buyers are willing to step in whenever momentum shifts. A clean push above the $0.22 to $0.25 area would be the first sign that the trend is turning.

Once that happens, the path toward $0.30 becomes much more realistic, especially if new updates around Ztarknet or BTCFi land at the right moment.

If the market pulls back again and the STRK price slips under $0.16, it may revisit the same zone where the whale first entered the long position. That level has already acted as a magnet for buyers, and traders will be watching it closely if the broader market weakens.

For now, Starknet continues to sit in the middle of multiple fast-growing narratives, and that alone is enough to keep every dip interesting.
