According to market intelligence platform Santiment, Ethereum is dominating crypto conversations right now. The ETH price is trading above $4,700, getting very close to its all-time high.
On social media, people are talking about whether ETH can hit $5,000 soon. Santiment says the buzz is being driven by big liquidations, strong ETF inflows, and major institutional moves – including reports of BlackRock buying Ethereum. There’s also growing interest from Google searches, plus plenty of comparisons with Bitcoin and other major tokens like Solana. Technical analysts are adding to the hype, saying charts still point to more gains ahead.
Santiment also notes that Solana (SOL) is trending. People are discussing its strong liquidity, market cap, and active trading. SOL is being compared to both Ethereum and Bitcoin, and there’s talk about possible ETFs linked to Solana. Interest is also coming from bullish technical analysis, price predictions, institutional involvement, and its fast-growing ecosystem.

🪙 The word 'eth' is trending due to significant discussions about Ethereum's recent price surge nearing or surpassing $4,700, with speculation about reaching $5,000 soon. The trend is… pic.twitter.com/1DU1CwKO52
OKB has jumped into the spotlight after a huge token burn by the OKX exchange. Santiment explains that the burn cut supply by about 75% to just 21 million tokens, which sent prices soaring more than 170% – with some exchanges seeing as much as 400%. The exchange also removed minting, phased out manual burns, and announced plans to retire OKTChain, migrating OKT over to OKB. The upgraded blockchain can now handle 5,000 transactions per second with almost no gas fees, and OKB will be the exclusive gas token.
Monero (XMR) is trending for different reasons. Santiment reports that the network may have been hit by a 51% attack from the Qubic mining pool. This has sparked worries about double-spending, transaction censorship, and security. Even so, Monero’s privacy features are still intact, and the event has kicked off debates about its decentralization and role as the top privacy coin.
Chainlink (LINK) is making noise too. Santiment says Twitter users are talking about its price targets, partnerships, and growing adoption in DeFi and traditional finance. On Reddit, people are discussing staking, oracle services, and how LINK brings real-world data on-chain. Even Telegram groups are busy with promotional messages linked to LINK’s ecosystem.
And, of course, Bitcoin (BTC) remains a core topic. Santiment points out that it’s being discussed in the context of market speculation, investment strategies, and comparisons with ETH and BCH. People are debating its store-of-value role, long-term potential, and how to trade it despite volatility.
