We are stepping into September, historically not a favorable month for Bitcoin and the crypto market in general.
With Bitcoin’s price dipping below $60k, we are not closing August on a high note either. Journalist “Wu Blockchain” has compiled a list of important events next month that could potentially impact the Bitcoin and crypto market.
Wu highlighted several important events that caught my attention. The upcoming debate between Trump and Harris could stir market sentiment, as political developments often influence investor confidence. Additionally, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting may signal the start of interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve, which could have far-reaching effects on various financial markets, including cryptocurrencies.
Another important event is the potential release of Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) from custody. Given CZ’s influential position in the crypto space, this could affect market dynamics, particularly for Binance-related assets.
September will also host two of the largest blockchain events in Asia: Korean Blockchain Week and Singapore 2049. These conferences often serve as platforms for important announcements and networking opportunities within the industry. They may introduce new projects, partnerships, or technological advancements that could influence market trends.
